Steward of Nature - Whitetail Deer 1-Day

Located just outside the town of Sellers in Hunt Zone 4, this 80-acre property offers a true DIY hunting experience for whitetail deer. Designed specifically for single-day hunts, it's an ideal option for local hunters seeking flexible, same-day opportunities without the need for extended planning or overnight accommodations. If multi-day hunts are desired, there is also a 3-day hunt option available on the IO platform! There are no permanent structures, blinds, feeders, or amenities on-site; hunters are expected to bring all their own equipment and supplies for the duration of the hunt. To maintain a healthy and sustainable deer population, each hunter is limited to the harvest of one deer per day. This property operates under a defined harvest quota managed collaboratively between the landowners and Infinite Outdoors, and all hunters are required to complete an automated harvest report sent immediately after each hunt. With a solid local deer population and minimal hunting pressure, this property offers a no-frills, high-opportunity experience for self-sufficient sportsmen.

Steward of Nature offers hunters a compelling mix of open fields encircled by dense timber, creating a natural edge habitat that supports a healthy and abundant population of white-tailed deer. The open spaces provide clear sightlines, while the surrounding woodlands offer essential cover and bedding areas, making this landscape ideal for deer movement and activity. Hunters should employ strategic approaches, utilizing the property's natural features to their advantage. In South Carolina, white-tailed deer are most active during dawn and dusk, and they thrive in environments that offer a combination of open foraging areas and dense cover for shelter. The state's diverse habitats, including those found in the Pee Dee region where this property is located, contribute to robust deer populations. According to the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources, the state maintains a stable deer population, with management practices ensuring sustainable harvests and healthy herds.

After your hunt, you will be sent an automated Harvest Report. To assist Infinite Outdoors in maintaining the quality of properties - and continue to put conservation at the forefront - we require that the harvest report be completely filled out and returned. Failure to fill out the harvest report within 2 weeks of the hunt taking place will result in a $25 fine. If you are unsuccessful in filling your tag, Infinite Outdoors still needs to have that information provided to them. This is how we will make changes to future year's harvest quotas and continue to be the most well managed access and conservation platform in the country.

Over the counter tags!

Reservation fees are due at the time of booking and are non-refundable. All OTC hunts will require a 50% deposit of the outdoorsman fee at the time of booking as well. The remaining 50% will process 1 month prior to the hunt.

Cancellations made prior to placing a deposit will be taken care of immediately. Any cancellations needing made after placing a deposit will result in attempts to reschedule the hunt for a different season, or a different year. Please note that refunds are not guaranteed.

If there is a lapse in availability, please do not be discouraged to reach out to IO. All calendars are set and managed by landowners, and unavailability is set by them. However, IO is willing to reach out on your behalf, to check on available dates. Other reasons for unavailable dates include biologist recommended hunter/harvest quotas that landowners implement, as well as state season dates not being released.

You are not legally allowed to access the property, for any adventure, prior to your selected access day, unless explicitly invited by the landowner. If you try to access the property at all before your selected date(s), without prior approval from IO or the landowner, you will be subject to trespassing and punishments therein.
