Enjoy 7.3 acres of Lake Fishing on the Upper Michigan Reservoir within 2 hours of Denver. Nestled at over 10,500 feet in a high mountain valley near the Continental Divide in South Park, this location is a mountaintop treat. Just under ten miles from Jefferson, this property is surrounded by the Pike National Forest, where trophy trout prosper in this tranquil lake, waiting for a skillfully presented fly. Whether you are in a boat or working the shoreline, these waters can provide ample opportunities, with trout rising and big cruisers working the banks just feet from the lake's edge. There is no shortage of species and views at this location. It offers a great visual experience while giving you the chance to catch big Palominos, Rainbows, Browns, Brookies, and Tiger Trout!

There are multiple lakes on the property, our anglers have access to the Upper Lake only with this booking. Plenty to have a stellar fishing day. You can book the Lower Lake on a separate listing.

There are three drift boats for our guests to use at no extra charge! These boats are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Feel free to bring your own belly boat to enjoy the water. Just a heads up, there’s no boat launch on the property for angler use.

Family-friendly and kid-friendly, with a gazebo available for lunch and or shelter from an afternoon thunderstorm. There is also an open picnic area for your use as well. This is a high-elevation lake, and afternoon thunderstorms are to be expected.

Although we typically get your booking approved within a few hours, please allow up to one business day for booking confirmations.

Due to livestock and other concerns, dogs and other pets are NOT permitted on this property.

For a larger camper, there is a spot next to the port-a-potty you can back into. Fires are not permitted, however, there is a grill on site that is open to angler use. Please remember to shut off the propane when finished.

We can't guarantee you'll catch fish every time—fishing always comes with a bit of unpredictability due to factors like weather and fish behavior. However, we do everything we can to boost your chances! We offer information on local fly shops so you can get the best tips and gear recommendations. As for the size of the fish, it really depends on where you're fishing. We aim to connect you with spots where you have a good shot at landing some great catches, but it's all part of the Do-It-Yourself fly fishing adventure!

Tons of brookies, and a couple cuthroat brought to net. The boats available to use are awesome. There are some PBs sitting in there that will try your patience. Will be back again.

This property is gorgeous and the fishing is great. I loved the opportunity to use the boats and to take time to try different flies. We met Kevin, the owner, and he was so friendly and welcoming which makes this location even more enjoyable.
