Hearn Place offers 227 acres of private whitetail doe deer hunting just outside McRae-Helena, Georgia, in Telfair County and the state’s Green either-sex zone. Book a 5-day hunt and bring whatever your tag calls for, whether that is a bow, a muzzleloader, or a rifle.

This is classic Upper Coastal Plain deer country, with planted pines, hardwood drainages, and field edges. Turnpike Creek runs just south and southeast of the property and keeps deer on this ground year round. Eight acres of food plots and two feeders put does on a predictable pattern, and the landowner manages for up to 10 does per season, so expect steady action from your first sit to your last.

Two box blinds overlook the plots, letting you slip in quietly before first light and stay comfortable through long sits. Your party gets the property to itself for the full hunt, with room for up to 4 hunters. Access is on foot once parked, and the Infinite Outdoors app guides you to the property, the boundaries, and every access point.

Georgia deer licenses are sold over the counter, so there is no draw to wait on. Each hunter needs a Georgia hunting license, a big game license, and a deer harvest record, and every deer must be reported through Georgia Game Check. Firearm either-sex days vary by county, so confirm current regulations at georgiawildlife.com before your hunt. Lodging, food, and fuel are a short drive away in McRae-Helena.

South central Georgia holds one of the most productive whitetail herds in the Southeast, and Hearn Place sits right in the middle of it. The mix of pine stands, hardwood bottoms, and open edges gives deer everything they need in a small footprint: thick bedding cover, browse, and easy travel between them. Planted food plots and supplemental feeders concentrate that movement, so does tend to show up in the same places on a reliable schedule, especially at first and last light. With year-round water just off the south and southeast edges, deer have little reason to leave. Hunters who sit patiently over the plots should see does regularly throughout their stay.

Reservation fees are due at the time of booking and are non-refundable. 50% of the outdoorsman fee will process at the time of booking since licenses in Georgia are over the counter. The remaining 50% will process 1 month prior to the adventure.

For big game adventures, cancellations made prior to placing a deposit will be handled immediately with no penalty. If a cancellation is requested after a deposit has been placed, Infinite Outdoors will make every effort to reschedule the hunt for a different season or a future year. Refunds are not guaranteed once a deposit has been placed.

If there is a lapse in availability, please do not be discouraged to reach out to IO. All calendars are set and managed by landowners, and unavailability is set by them. However, IO is willing to reach out on your behalf, to check on available dates. Other reasons for unavailable dates include biologist recommended hunter/harvest quotas that landowners implement, as well as state season dates not being released.

You are not legally allowed to access the property, for any adventure, prior to your selected access day. If you try to access the property at all before your selected date(s), without prior approval from IO, you will be subject to trespassing and punishments therein.
