The Hearn Place is a 227-acre private whitetail property located outside of McRae-Helena, Georgia in the Green deer management zone. This is a doe-only listing - buck hunts on this property are available through a separate listing on the Infinite Outdoors platform. These 5-day hunts can be booked during rifle, archery, or muzzleloader season depending on the tag you have in hand. The property comes well equipped with 2 box blinds, 2 feeders, and 8 acres of food plots, giving hunters a comfortable and productive setup from the moment they arrive. The goal here is straightforward herd management - the landowner aims to harvest up to 10 does per season to keep the population balanced and the overall herd healthy. Does are abundant on this property and hunters should have consistent opportunities throughout their stay. Upon booking confirmation, please review the full property rules for more details on the deer management policy, as well as information on the harvest report that will be requested following your hunt.
The Hearn Place sits in south central Georgia's Upper Coastal Plain - one of the more productive whitetail regions in the state, with a healthy and well-established deer population spread across the mix of planted pines, hardwood drainages, and agricultural edges that define this part of Georgia. It is the doe segment of the herd that ultimately determines most of the differences found in deer populations - does control reproduction rates, fawn recruitment, and overall herd size, making them the most important animal on a managed property. Georgia has historically maintained one of the better adult buck-to-doe ratios in the Southeast, with pre-hunt ratios closer to 1:1 than most states - a reflection of the quality management that has been practiced across the region for decades. On well-managed private properties like the Hearn Place, does are a consistent and frequent presence throughout the season. The 8 acres of food plots and supplemental feeders on the property keep deer moving through predictable areas on a reliable schedule, and Turnpike Creek running just south and southeast of the property provides a year-round water source that anchors deer to this ground. In good habitat with adequate food supply, does in this region are capable of producing twins regularly, which speaks to both the productivity of this ground and the importance of keeping doe harvest in balance with the land's carrying capacity
Reservation fees are due at the time of booking and are non-refundable. 50% of the outdoorsman fee will process at the time of booking since licenses in Georgia are over the counter. The remaining 50% will process 1 month prior to the adventure.
For big game adventures, cancellations made prior to placing a deposit will be handled immediately with no penalty. If a cancellation is requested after a deposit has been placed, Infinite Outdoors will make every effort to reschedule the hunt for a different season or a future year. Refunds are not guaranteed once a deposit has been placed.

However, IO is willing to reach out on your behalf, to check on available dates. Other reasons for unavailable dates include biologist recommended hunter/harvest quotas that landowners implement, as well as state season dates not being released.
You are not legally allowed to access the property, for any adventure, prior to your selected access day. If you try to access the property at all before your selected date(s), without prior approval from IO, you will be subject to trespassing and punishments therein.
