Notes from the landowner

Spring Creeks Ranch offers private trout fly fishing on 83 acres near Carbondale, Colorado, in [County] County. Saturday trips here put you on several ponds, 0.75 miles of spring-fed creeks, and nearly half a mile of the Roaring Fork River, all a short drive from Glenwood Springs, Basalt, and Aspen.

The landowner has spent years building ideal trout habitat throughout these waters, and it shows. Brown and rainbow trout commonly run 14 to 22 inches, and catch-and-release fishing keeps the fishery producing trophy-class fish. Dry flies and nymph rigs both work well depending on the season, so experienced anglers and newer fly fishers alike will find water that fits their style.

This listing books Saturdays, which are Restricted Access Days while the ranch hosts event guests. On these days, a section of one creek (approximately 350 feet) is closed to anglers, but every other creek, every pond, and the Roaring Fork stay open. Contact the ranch when you arrive, before getting on the water, for access instructions.

Spring Creeks Ranch is request to book. When you select your dates and tap Book Now, you are sending a request, not a confirmed booking. If your dates are open, we will accept your booking, process payment, and email your confirmation, usually within a few hours. If not, we will let you know by email. Dates marked unavailable on the calendar are accurate. Dogs and other pets are not permitted because of livestock, and a valid Colorado fishing license is required.
