NoOnly a short drive from Rexburg, Idaho this property features 3/4 of a mile of access to an angler’s paradise on the Fall River. The Fall River flows down from Yellowstone National Park for approximately 64 miles. Known for great Rainbow and Cutthroat trout fishing, the Fall River is an angler’s paradise. Due to the fact that this river is largely inaccessible by road, it minimizes the fishing pressure on Fall River making for a fun and peaceful day on the water. If you are heading to Idaho and want to get away from the crowds, this could be your ticket. Expect to catch Rainbow, Brown, Cutthroat, and Brook trout, as well as White Mountain fish. Ease of access is moderate and the river bottom may be slippery. Felt Soles and wading staff may be helpful for some anglers.
Please note, Under the Idaho Stream Access Law, the public may use rivers and streams for recreational purposes up to the ordinary high-water mark. Although unlikely, you could potentially see other anglers while on this property. RareWaters mission is to spread the power of the outdoors and the inspiration to conserve it. Great time on the Fall River Meadows property close to Ashton, Idaho. Great spot for camping if you are heading up to the Yellowstone / Montana area. Easy access to the river and parking, will definitely make the trip back out soon!

Had a tough time getting to the river as it was a bit muddy, but when you do it is beautiful. Very isolated and easy banks to walk. The fishing was a little slower than expected, but when I focused on the riffles and behind the rocks I found fish. Would probably bring a trout spey next time and swing some of the wider runs. Location was great and the landowner was very friendly!
