This turkey hunt near Perry, Missouri - just a short drive from Mark Twain Lake - offers a strong opportunity to pursue Eastern turkeys across a network of productive farms in the area. Rather than being limited to a single tract, hunters will be guided to one of several properties depending on where the birds are currently most active, helping maximize overall success and experience. After booking, hunters can expect direct communication from the landowner to coordinate details and ensure everything is set up for a smooth and successful hunt. Upon arrival to the property, and after checking in, hunters will be shown where to go based on current bird activity and conditions. The goal is to put you in the right spot each day while still allowing you to enjoy the hunt at your own pace. While this listing highlights just over 100 acres, access extends beyond that to additional nearby farms, all within a reasonable driving distance. Lodging is included at no additional cost, making this a convenient trip. Missouri licenses are valid statewide, giving hunters flexibility and ease while planning their hunt. Please note - youth hunts are also welcomed and will be offered at a discounted rate!
This property is set up really well for Eastern turkeys, with a good mix of hardwood timber, rolling hills, and open areas that give birds everything they need in one place. The timber provides solid roosting spots and cover, while the way the ground lays out helps guide how turkeys move through the property from morning to afternoon. There are several ponds on the property that give birds a consistent water source and tend to keep them using the area regularly.
Food is a big part of what makes this place work, with multiple food plots spread throughout the farms. Most importantly, there’s chufa planted in different areas, which turkeys love to dig up and feed on. Once they find it, they’ll keep coming back and working those spots over. Between the thick cover, available water, and reliable food, this property holds a strong population of birds and gives you a solid chance to get on them throughout your hunt.
