3575Located just south of I-25 in central Wyoming, this 3,500-acre private ranch offers an exceptional opportunity for mule deer hunters seeking true western solitude and trophy potential. The property sits east of Box Elder Creek and features a classic blend of rolling prairie, rimrock breaks, and scattered draws that provide ideal habitat for Wyoming’s famous high-plains mule deer.
The landscape transitions from open grasslands to sagebrush ridges and cottonwood creek bottoms, creating a diverse environment that holds deer throughout the season. Multiple natural pinch points and elevation changes make this property a hunter’s dream for both spot-and-stalk and glass-and-move strategies.
With minimal hunting pressure and vast, unbroken acreage, mature bucks are frequently observed across the ranch, particularly in the early and late parts of the season. Access is easy via well-maintained ranch roads, and the location just off I-25 allows for convenient travel while still feeling completely remote once you’re on the property.
This ranch represents one of the region’s best opportunities to experience classic Wyoming mule deer hunting on expansive private ground.
The western edge of the property borders Box Elder Creek, which meanders through cottonwood-lined bottoms and seasonal wetlands that serve as critical water and shelter sources during dry months. Moving east, the terrain transitions into a mosaic of sagebrush flats, native grasses, and scattered juniper draws and prime forage zones that sustain deer throughout the fall and winter.
Rolling hills and rimrock outcroppings dominate the central portion of the ranch, offering excellent bedding and vantage areas for mule deer. These features also create natural travel corridors between the creek bottoms and upland feeding areas, resulting in consistent deer movement across the property.
In addition to strong mule deer populations, the property supports antelope, upland birds, and small game, reflecting the balanced and healthy ecosystem maintained by low grazing pressure and intact native vegetation.
This combination of varied terrain, reliable water, and abundant natural forage makes the Box Elder Creek property one of the most productive mule deer habitats in the region.
After your hunt, you will be sent an automated Harvest Report. To assist Infinite Outdoors in maintaining the quality of properties - and continue to put conservation at the forefront - we require that the harvest report be completely filled out and returned. Failure to fill out the harvest report within 2 weeks of the hunt taking place will result in a $25 fine. If you are unsuccessful in filling your tag, Infinite Outdoors still needs to have that information provided to them. This is how we will make changes to future year's harvest quotas and continue to be the most well managed access and conservation platform in the country.
If you are successful in harvesting an animal on this property, as a request of the landowners you must send in the Landowner Coupon that is attached to your big game license. Any hunter who successfully fills their tag but fails to return the landowner coupon will receive a $25 fine. This will be issued to the landowner in lieu of the money they would have received from the state through the landowner coupon program. The Harvest Report (noted above) is how you will notify Infinite Outdoors of your hunt results. Unsuccessful hunters are not required to return a coupon. The additional income driven through landowner coupons is a great way to continue incentivizing landowners to allow access to their land - we ask for your help in this endeavor, to keep quality access available at the touch of a button. Upon successful harvest, please send your landowner coupon to: PO Drawer 2360, Casper, WY 82602.
