Notes from the landowner

Welcome to Bull Springs Outpost - 80 acres of untouched Wyoming high desert, named after a historic frontier outpost that once stood on this very ground. Tucked into the checkerboard northwest of Rawlins, this parcel is one of the last private tracts before the landscape gives way to wide open BLM. What makes this listing special is what comes with it - not just private ground that has seen virtually no foot traffic, but clean, hassle-free access to a full 640-acre section of BLM to the south that most people simply can't reach without crossing private land or corner crossing. You're getting both, with zero grey area.

Only a handful of shed hunters will be granted access each year since this is a smaller parcel of private land. Getting into our property is very easy - follow a public 2-track through BLM and it drops you right at our private boundary. All access within the private boundary is limited to foot traffic only, please do not drive or off-road through the property. Take care of the land, and we hope you find something special out there!

Game and habitat information

This property sits in Sweetwater County, roughly 25 miles north of Rawlins, WY. Although not directly located in historic deer and elk wintering ranges, it lies just on the fringe and offers great potential for finding sheds from the previous years migrations. A huge perk here is the limited use of full 640 acre BLM section to the south - utilizing this property to access the checkerboard BLM expands your search radius and odds of success.

Availability

If there is a lapse in availability, please do not be discouraged to reach out to IO. All calendars are set and managed by landowners, and unavailability is set by them. However, IO is willing to reach out on your behalf, to check on available dates. Other reasons for unavailable dates include biologist recommended hunter/harvest quotas that landowners implement, as well as state season dates not being released.
