Our newest still water edition and sister lake to our much sought after Mirror on the Michigan, this property offers an adjacent but new experience for those looking to mix things up. Recently stocked with the elusive tiger trout, Michigan #2 will accommodate for those looking to chase new and exciting species!
Nestled at over 10,500 feet in a high mountain valley near the Continental Divide in South Park, this location is a mountaintop treat. Just under ten miles from Jefferson CO, this property is surrounded by the Pike National Forest, where trophy trout prosper in this tranquil lake, waiting for a skillfully presented fly. Whether you are in a boat or working the shoreline, these waters can provide ample opportunities, with trout rising and big cruisers working the banks just feet from the lake's edge. There is no shortage of species and views at this location. It offers a great visual experience while giving you the chance to catch big Palominos, Rainbows, Browns, Brookies, and Tiger Trout!
There are three drift boats for our guests to use at no extra charge! These boats are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Feel free to bring your own belly boat to enjoy the water. Just a heads up, there’s no boat launch on the property for angler use.
There is a gazebo available for lunch and or shelter from an afternoon thunderstorm. There is also an open picnic area for your use as well. This is a high-elevation lake, and afternoon thunderstorms are to be expected.
Although we typically get your booking approved within a few hours, please allow up to one business day for booking confirmations.
