PronghornRule Ranch is a DIY pronghorn property located south of the town of Las Animas, located in GMU 130. This listing is strictly meant for doe hunters - if you are booking a buck hunt, please use the buck listing also found on the IO platform. Rule Ranch consists of over 1200 acres of quality pronghorn ground. This hunt will be spot and stalk method of hunting, driving in and out will only be permitted on existing tracks. Hunters will be required to provide their own licensing and must abide by all state of Colorado rules and regulations. Expect to be contacted by the landowner and visited with during your hunt, as trespassing in this area is a consistent issue and we like to make sure the folks on our land are the right ones.
Due to the predominantly flat, open terrain found on this property, pronghorn movement is constant and highly visible. Rule Ranch sits between two reliable water sources, creating a natural travel corridor as antelope move back and forth between them throughout the day. With limited vertical relief and expansive grasslands, animals are rarely stationary for long periods and instead use the property as part of their daily rotation between feed and water. The 1,200-acre ranch consists primarily of shortgrass prairie, offering broad sightlines that pronghorn rely on for predator detection while grazing and traveling. Because water exists on both sides of the property, this acreage functions as a transition and grazing zone, with antelope frequently crossing through rather than remaining isolated to one corner. In dry conditions especially, water distribution plays a key role in movement patterns, and properties positioned between dependable sources often see consistent pronghorn traffic as herds travel predictable routes across the open landscape.
After your hunt, you will be sent an automated Harvest Report. To assist Infinite Outdoors in maintaining the quality of properties - and continue to put conservation at the forefront - we require that the harvest report be completely filled out and returned. Failure to fill out the harvest report within 2 weeks of the hunt taking place will result in a $25 fine. If you are unsuccessful in filling your tag, Infinite Outdoors still needs to have that information provided to them. This is how we will make changes to future year's harvest quotas and continue to be the most well managed access and conservation platform in the country.
Reservation fees are due at the time of booking and are non-refundable. 50% of the outdoorsman fee will process 2 weeks after draw results post, or immediately upon booking if a hunt is booked after draw results come out. The remaining 50% will process 1 month prior to the adventure taking place.
For big game adventures, cancellations made prior to placing a deposit will be handled immediately with no penalty. If a cancellation is requested after a deposit has been placed, Infinite Outdoors will make every effort to reschedule the hunt for a different season or a future year. Refunds are not guaranteed once a deposit has been placed.
If there is a lapse in availability, please do not be discouraged to reach out to IO. All calendars are set and managed by landowners, and unavailability is set by them. However, IO is willing to reach out on your behalf, to check on available dates. Other reasons for unavailable dates include biologist recommended hunter/harvest quotas that landowners implement, as well as state season dates not being released.
You are not legally allowed to access the property, for any adventure, prior to your selected access day. If you try to access the property at all before your selected date(s), without prior approval from IO, you will be subject to trespassing and punishments therein.
