Old Glory is a private, DIY black bear hunting property nestled in the southwest corner of Pennsylvania. This listing is built for rifle hunters who want a focused, short-timeframe hunt on ground that genuinely holds bears.
We manage this property closely and keep pressure low by limiting the field to no more than 3 hunters at a time. Each hunter is assigned 2 dedicated tree stands for their personal use, with 2 additional ground blinds available to everyone on the property. Use our setups or bring your own - we're flexible either way.
Trail cameras run year-round across the property, and we stay on top of the footage. Once you're booked, you'll receive regular photo and video updates in the offseason so you can follow bear activity on the ground long before your hunt begins.
This is a 4-day rifle hunt offered on specific Pennsylvania Game Commission-mandated dates. If you're looking for a longer hunt or prefer to come in with archery or muzzleloading equipment, head over to our 9-day bear hunt listing on the Infinite Outdoors site.
We're looking forward to hosting you!

Pennsylvania supports one of the most robust black bear populations in the eastern United States, with an estimated 18,000 bears statewide. The state's bear management program has produced measurable results over several decades, and the quality of the animals reflects it - Pennsylvania consistently ranks second among all states and Canadian provinces in Boone and Crockett Club black bear entries.
Old Glory covers just over 300 acres in the southwest corner of the state, in terrain that is well-suited to black bears. Mature hardwood forest, natural mast production, defined ridge lines, and creek drainages running through the property give bears reliable food sources and established travel routes. This is the kind of mixed Appalachian habitat that bears seek out, bed in, and return to seasonally.
Trail camera data collected on the property over multiple seasons confirms consistent bear presence. Bears are documented moving through regularly, using the same corridors and terrain features year after year.
Reservation fees are due at the time of booking and are non-refundable. 50% of the outdoorsman fee will automatically process at the time of booking. The remaining 50% will automatically process 30 days prior to the start of your adventure.

If there is a lapse in availability, please do not be discouraged to reach out to IO. All calendars are set and managed by landowners, and unavailability is set by them. However, IO is willing to reach out on your behalf, to check on available dates. Other reasons for unavailable dates include biologist recommended hunter/harvest quotas that landowners implement, as well as state season dates not being released.
