MerriamSituated between Hulett and Aladdin, Wyoming, this property offers DIY, private land turkey hunting with direct access to nearly 18,000 acres of Black Hills National Forest. The property is an active hobby farm, with a designated fenced-in area near the home that is off-limits, while the rest of the land is open for hunting. All hunters must be aware of farm animal locations and should refrain from firing any weapons in the vicinity of the hobby farm. Hunters are required to park at the main gate and continue on foot, preserving the natural movement of wildlife. For those who want to extend their time in the field, on-site camping is available. The seamless access to public land provides even more options, ensuring hunters have ample ground to explore.
With diverse landscapes, direct national forest access, and excellent hunting potential, this property presents an outstanding opportunity for turkey hunters seeking an authentic, immersive experience. Licenses for this area can be purchased over the counter!
At Hidden Acres, turkeys have plenty of space to move between private and public land, giving hunters lots of opportunities. In this region of Wyoming, hunters will be after the elusive Merriam Turkey. Birds will roost in the trees along the ridges and wooded areas, flying down at sunrise to feed in the open fields. They spend the day moving between the fields and forest, using hills and ravines for cover, before heading back to the trees to roost in the evening. The northern part of the property has large farm fields surrounded by trees and a steep, rocky ridge where turkeys often roost. A small ravine on the northeast side acts as a natural travel route for birds. In the southern section, rolling hills and rocky outcrops provide dusting areas and travel paths, while a pond in the south fields gives turkeys a reliable water source. With neighboring properties allowing hunting and easy access to public land, turkeys are always on the move. Hunters can explore both private and public ground, increasing their chances of a successful hunt. This property offers a great mix of open fields, wooded cover, and natural food and water sources, making it an ideal place for turkey hunting, especially at dawn and dusk.
After your hunt, you will be sent an automated Harvest Report. To assist Infinite Outdoors in maintaining the quality of properties - and continue to put conservation at the forefront - we require that the harvest report be completely filled out and returned. Failure to fill out the harvest report within 2 weeks of the hunt taking place will result in a $25 fine. If you are unsuccessful in filling your tag, Infinite Outdoors still needs to have that information provided to them. This is how we will make changes to future year's harvest quotas and continue to be the most well managed access and conservation platform in the country.
1 Day. If multiple days are desired, users must book them individually.
Over the counter tags!
Reservation fees are due at the time of booking, and are non-refundable. 100% of the outdoorsman fee will process 7 full days prior to the adventure start date.
Cancellations must be made outside of the 7-day payment policy window. Any cancellations made within the 7 day window may be subject to full or partial changes. The IO team will work with you to reschedule, if applicable.
If there is a lapse in availability, please do not be discouraged to reach out to IO. All calendars are set and managed by landowners, and unavailability is set by them. However, IO is willing to reach out on your behalf, to check on available dates. Other reasons for unavailable dates include biologist recommended hunter/harvest quotas that landowners implement, as well as state season dates not being released. All big game hunts may be pre-booked for future seasons; reach out to IO to inquire.
You are not legally allowed to access the property, for any adventure, prior to your selected access day. If you try to access the property at all before your selected date(s), without prior approval from IO, you will be subject to trespassing and punishments therein.

This property supports abundant wildlife across a range of species and terrain. Turkeys have access to ridge top roosts, ag fields and timber. Although not deer hunting on my trip, there were plenty. This property borders public land so there is plenty of room to run should you need to. Access is easy and camping is available onsite through hip camp. Karla was an excellent host! The market that Karla has available onsite, with lattes and home made cinnamon rolls was a much enjoyed bonus!

Small and mostly open property that holds excellent turkey numbers in the morning and evening. The neighbor’s dogs did interfere in my hunt but that is purely bad luck. Black Hills National Forest access is a big plus.
