Bow and Barrel - Quick Hunt

Unforgettable upland hunting experiences only 2 hours east of Denver International Airport. This hunt is a DIY upland bird hunt in Joes, Colorado - it is facilitated through a Game Park Producers License which allows for supplementing the birds. It is defined as a 'Quick Hunt', which means you will have only a few hours in either the morning or evening to hunt this property. In your request for booking, please indicate if you are wanting a morning or evening hunt. This hunt will provide up to 3 birds per person - each member of the hunt must be an IO member and invited to the adventure and pay the daily access fee. This package does not come with meals or the use of the lodge or facilities - if you are interested in those additions, please use the 'Half Day' hunt listing found on the IO platform. This hunt is inherently a DIY hunt, and you are welcome to bring your own hunting dogs. Guides with dogs can be available for this hunt if you prefer - use the add-a-guide option during booking before you submit your request.

Hunters will enjoy a dynamic mix of pheasant habitat, from expansive CRP grasslands to planted food and cover plots and everything in between. Strategically planted food plots of milo and stands of sunflowers attract and retain birds, keeping pheasants concentrated on the property throughout the season. This diverse landscape offers excellent holding cover and classic pheasant hunting opportunities.

Through a Game Park Producers License, hunts can be facilitated longer than the regular season. Book your trip between October-March!

This is strictly a quick morning or evening hunt. Please indicate your preference of morning/evening in your booking request.

Reservation fees are processed at the time of booking and are non-refundable. Outdoorsman fees are processed 72 hours prior to the adventure.

If cancellation is necessary, it must be done more than 72 hours prior to the hunt. If a trip is cancelled within 72 hours, partial or full charges may be imposed. Reach out to IO to discuss options.
