Notes from the landowner

Hunton Creek Pronghorn is located directly east of Glenrock, Wyoming, within Antelope Area 30. The property offers excellent year round accessibility, sitting just off Interstate 25, making travel and logistics straightforward in all seasons. The combination of reliable access, consistent water, and high quality forage makes this a strong and dependable pronghorn property.

Pronghorn regularly occupy the property throughout the year, and game density is supported by multiple natural and man made water sources, along with expansive open terrain that fits pronghorn behavior and movement patterns well. Any and all driving on this property must be done on existing roads and two-tracks, otherwise all hunting must be done from foot. Hunters: please be prepared to return the landowner coupon on your license to this landowner. Check the rules and regs section upon booking to learn where to send the coupon.

Game and habitat information

The habitat is dominated by open mixed grass prairie and sagebrush flats, ideal for pronghorn visibility and movement. The landscape consists of gently rolling uplands and broad benches that allow antelope to see long distances and avoid pressure, which is exactly the terrain they prefer.

Box Elder Creek runs through the property and provides a well defined riparian corridor with greener vegetation compared to the surrounding uplands. While antelope do not rely heavily on dense riparian cover, this corridor serves as an important travel route and seasonal water source, especially during dry or hot periods. Nearby open slopes and flats are typically where most feeding and bedding occurs.

Depending on conditions, antelope may also utilize the edges of irrigated ground or improved forage near the creek, particularly early and late in the day. Windblown ridges, south facing slopes, and sagebrush dominated areas become especially important later in the season as weather and snow begin to influence movement.

Overall, this property offers textbook pronghorn habitat with open country, reliable seasonal water, and terrain well suited for spot and stalk hunting.

Harvest Reports

After your hunt, you will be sent an automated Harvest Report. To assist Infinite Outdoors in maintaining the quality of properties - and continue to put conservation at the forefront - we require that the harvest report be completely filled out and returned. Failure to fill out the harvest report within 2 weeks of the hunt taking place will result in a $25 fine. If you are unsuccessful in filling your tag, Infinite Outdoors still needs to have that information provided to them. This is how we will make changes to future year's harvest quotas and continue to be the most well managed access and conservation platform in the country.

Access Duration

3 day. By booking the first day of your adventure, you are automatically booking the following 2 as well. The reservation will be for the entire timeframe, and your entire group.
