38Horse Creek is a DIY pronghorn property in area 38, north of Cheyenne, WY. It is made up of over 8,500 acres of private land and provides access to several thousand acres of Wyoming state land as well. This property is an ideal hunting area due to its bountiful food and water sources! Horse Creek runs directly through the middle creating several watering holes. You will also find ag fields on the eastern section of the property, providing plenty of reason to keep game on site all season long. Hunters must take note of the place of residence on the property, and acknowledge that no shooting may be done within 500 yards of it. There are existing two-tracks and roads that may be utilized to traverse the property, but no driving off of the existing pathways will be permitted. This is a 3-day hunt, so the day that you book will automatically book you for the following two as well.
Although Wyoming experienced a large winter kill in the Western, North, South and South central areas this winter, this region did not experience the same snow levels as the rest of the state and therefore has seen better numbers this spring. However, based of recommendations from our state and staff biologist we have reduced the number of hunts in this area for the 2023 season to help mitigate losses in the rest of the state. With that in mind, we still predict great harvest results and aim to continue to manage this area for a high population of antelope. This area in the eastern half of Wyoming is known for its high density of antelope, outnumbering the population of humans in most regions. Large grasslands, mixed with rolling hills and shallow creek bottoms provide ideal habitat for antelope. Although this is not know for its trophy potential, high densities of bucks in the 15" range are seen in the area each season. With plenty of acreage to explore, this is a great area for both seasoned and first time antelope hunters to be successful on their hunts.
3 days. By booking the first day of your adventure, you are automatically booking the following 2 as well. The reservation will be for the entire timeframe, and your entire group.
All residents and non residents must apply and draw this tag. Drawing odds for this hunt area can be found at infiniteoutdoorsusa.com/links/wyo-draw-odds
Reservation fees are due at the time of booking, and are non-refundable. 50% of the outdoorsman fee will process 2 weeks after the draw results in this state are posted. If you are unsuccessful in the draw, reach out to IO and the situation will be handled accordingly. The remaining 50% will process 1 month prior to the hunt. All OTC hunts will require a 50% deposit of the outdoorsman fee at the time of booking as well. The remaining 50% will process 1 month prior to the hunt.
Cancellations made prior to placing a deposit will be taken care of immediately. Any cancellations needing made after placing a deposit will result in attempts to reschedule the hunt for a different season, or a different year. Please note that refunds are not guaranteed.
If there is a lapse in availability, please do not be discouraged to reach out to IO. All calendars are set and managed by landowners, and unavailability is set by them. However, IO is willing to reach out on your behalf, to check on available dates. Other reasons for unavailable dates include biologist recommended hunter/harvest quotas that landowners implement, as well as state season dates not being released. All big game hunts may be pre-booked for future seasons; reach out to IO to inquire.
You are not legally allowed to access the property, for any adventure, prior to your selected access day. If you try to access the property at all before your selected date(s), without prior approval from IO, you will be subject to trespassing and punishments therein.
