Notes from the landowner

Land stewardship comes first at Badger Basin, the landowner manages this ground with conservation and harvest working hand in hand, and the property's 846 irrigated acres reflect that care. The ranch is working ground across four parcels, with harvested barley and sugar beet fields that keep antelope feeding and staging close to the property most of the season.
No draw, no tag, no season limits — the varmint and predator hunt at Badger Basin is open access on the same 846 irrigated acres used for antelope and deer. It's a low-commitment way to spend a day on productive ground, working the edges of hay and beet fields where varmints and predators concentrate. Hay-bale blinds and elevated positions work just as well for calling and glassing as they do for big game.

Game and habitat information

Working irrigated fields and the margins around them typically hold strong varmint and predator activity, drawn in by the same feed and cover that supports deer and antelope on the property
