Gander River Dove

This 40 acre section sits just south of Greeley along prime river bottom. The south side of the river has a handful of cottonwoods and has a small 7 acre area of grass mix – a good food source. The north side of the river has a slough and is covered with cottonwoods and tall grass. Either side provides a great opportunity to get on some doves. Hunters must abide by all Colorado State rules and regulations including, weapon, limits, etc.

This property is a great location for dove hunting, the South Platte River provides plenty of trees and cover as well as a water source and the Local agriculture fields provide plenty of food. This property will hold both Mourning and Eurasian doves (these species have some overlapping seasons dates but make sure to check regulations before hunting).
