Firesteel Prairie Dogs + Lodging

Enjoy a fully DIY prairie dog hunt with the comfort of on-site lodging included. Guests stay in our five-bedroom lodge with nine total beds, a full kitchen, and grill. While hunts are self-guided, the property owner is always available to answer questions or provide assistance as needed. The owner will be in contact with you after a booking is approved. Prairie dog hunts can be done all year round - they are most commonly done in the spring months. A discount may be applied to any hunts that are booked in the month of July! Additional acreage and prairie dog towns may be available at the landowner's discretion, and only if existing acreage is not producing a quality hunt. All huntable acreage is clearly outlined in the Infinite Outdoors app, allowing hunters to easily navigate and understand property boundaries. Lodging is included in the reservation fee for this hunt!

Open, expansive farm fields and native grasslands provide prime prairie dog habitat across the property. Large prairie dog towns are spread throughout the ranch, offering high visibility and consistent shooting opportunities. The wide-open landscape allows hunters to spot activity from long distances, with plenty of room to relocate if one area slows down. This 8,000-acre family ranch supports multiple active colonies, ensuring ample opportunity and flexibility throughout the hunt.

The reservation fee for this listing is specifically to reserving the lodging - this fee is processed at the time of booking and are non-refundable. No additional per person fees will be charged.

Cancellations must be made 7 days or more prior to the adventure. Cancellations made within 7 days will be subject to partial or full outdoorsman fee charges.

If there is a lapse in availability, please do not be discouraged from contacting Infinite Outdoors. Some landowners have not opened their land for reservations yet. The other reason properties might be unavailable is because we work directly with our landowners and hunts are booked by quota set by our biologist for the current year. That being said, we are willing, and able in most cases, to pre-book you for next season. OR book you in place of someone else canceling their reservation.

You are not legally allowed to access the property, for any adventure, prior to your selected access day. If you try to access the property at all before your selected date(s), without prior approval from IO, you will be subject to trespassing and punishments therein.
