The property sits right off a well maintained county road with a gated entrance and enough room to park trucks and set up a shooting bench without any hiking required. Most of the ground can be driven or walked from the truck in minutes, so hunters can get set up fast and move to new dog towns throughout the day without burning daylight on foot travel. The rolling shortgrass terrain gives clear sightlines across the colonies, which makes this a great spot for hunters who want a high volume day in the field with minimal physical demand.

The property is classic shortgrass prairie, dominated by buffalo grass and blue grama with scattered yucca and sagebrush breaks. Several active prairie dog towns spread across the flatter benches and low rises, giving hunters plenty of targets and room to spread out. The open terrain that prairie dogs favor also draws in golden eagles, hawks, and burrowing owls, so hunters can expect to see plenty of other wildlife working the colonies throughout the day. Water is limited on the property itself, so hunters should plan to bring their own for a full day out.

Hunts will require a 50% deposit of the outdoorsman fee at the time of booking and the remaining 50% will process 7 days prior to the hunt.

Cancellations made prior to placing a deposit will be taken care of immediately. Any cancellations needing made after placing a deposit will result in attempts to reschedule the hunt for a different season, or a different year. Please note that refunds are not guaranteed.

If there is a lapse in availability, please do not be discouraged to reach out to IO. All calendars are set and managed by landowners, and unavailability is set by them. However, IO is willing to reach out on your behalf, to check on available dates. Other reasons for unavailable dates include biologist recommended hunter/harvest quotas that landowners implement, as well as state season dates not being released. All big game hunts may be pre-booked for future seasons; reach out to IO to inquire.

You are not legally allowed to access the property, for any adventure, prior to your selected access day. If you try to access the property at all before your selected date(s), without prior approval from IO, you will be subject to trespassing and punishments therein.
