If you're after a genuine trophy hog, this property gives you a real shot at one without a long hunt. Easy drive-up access means more time hunting and less time getting there. To qualify as a trophy on this property, a hog needs to show at least 1 inch of tusk or weigh over 200 lbs. It offers one of the easiest, lowest-friction hog hunts Infinite Outdoors has to offer: there's no long ATV ride or hike required, access is a simple park and short walk. You can hunt from the properties elevated stand looking over a feeder.
Sounders of five to eight-plus hogs have been documented moving through the property, including piglets alongside adults, which points to a resident, breeding population rather than hogs simply passing through. Activity has been captured at dawn, mid-morning, and mid-afternoon, and across multiple seasons, so hogs are using this ground consistently, not just on a seasonal pass-through.
This is a gun-only property (no archery), and hunts run as single-day access bookings, available 365 days a year. There are no blinds provided, so plan to bring your own setup or hunt from a ground position per the property rules.
Tucked along the Peace River in DeSoto County, this small parcel sits in a mix of oak hammock and dense saw palmetto understory on sandy soil — classic Central Florida hog cover — and sees daily hog movement as a result
