159The Big Nemaha property offers 160 acres of Deer hunting located north of Seneca KS, less than a mile from the Nebraska border and a mile west of the South Fork Big Nemaha River. Kansas is notorious year in and year out for producing amazing whitetails. With this property sitting on a water source, open agriculture fields and thick stands of timber, this is a great property to find your own trophy deer. Hunters are asked to participate in managing the deer on this property, by only harvesting mature bucks. With very minimal hunting pressure in the past, this property comes to the IO platform well rested. There will be no provided tree stands or blinds on this property - it is a true DIY set up. You may bring your own saddle or climber tree stand or set up a ground blind, but no permanent stands may be set up. Hunters will be limited to where they may drive on the property, make note of the driving path provided in the Infinite Outdoors app.
This property is located in Kansas's unit 9 near the border with Nebraska in an area known for trophy whitetail. The mix of creek bottoms, hardwoods and thickets, grasslands and agriculture fields provide excellent habitat for deer throughout the season. 30 acres of this farm are planted in wheat, and with a small pond on site, plus cover, everything deer need to thrive is provided right here. Look for deer to travel the tree lines and feed in the crops. Bucks will increase travel during the rut looking for does - this farm is home to a large group of resident does and young bucks. This farm is grazed during the spring and summer by cattle, but all cattle are off the property by early November.
After your hunt, you will be sent an automated Harvest Report. To assist Infinite Outdoors in maintaining the quality of properties - and continue to put conservation at the forefront - we require that the harvest report be completely filled out and returned. Failure to fill out the harvest report within 2 weeks of the hunt taking place will result in a $25 fine. If you are unsuccessful in filling your tag, Infinite Outdoors still needs to have that information provided to them. This is how we will make changes to future year's harvest quotas and continue to be the most well managed access and conservation platform in the country.
5-day hunt
Reservation fees are due at the time of booking, and are non-refundable. 50% of the outdoorsman fee will process 2 weeks after the draw results in this state are posted. If you are unsuccessful in the draw, reach out to IO and the situation will be handled accordingly. The remaining 50% will process 1 month prior to the hunt.
Cancellations made prior to placing a deposit will be taken care of immediately. Any cancellations needing made after placing a deposit will result in attempts to reschedule the hunt for a different season, or a different year. Please note that refunds are not guaranteed.
If there is a lapse in availability, please do not be discouraged to reach out to IO. All calendars are set and managed by landowners, and unavailability is set by them. However, IO is willing to reach out on your behalf, to check on available dates. Other reasons for unavailable dates include biologist recommended hunter/harvest quotas that landowners implement, as well as state season dates not being released.
You are not legally allowed to access the property, for any adventure, prior to your selected access day. If you try to access the property at all before your selected date(s), without prior approval from IO, you will be subject to trespassing and punishments therein.
