5 DaysThis property is set up for independent hunters looking for a structured but flexible experience. It is a DIY hunt with no lodging provided, though ten existing deer stands are in place and available for use. There are also multiple locations suitable for ground blind setups. A network of cut trails runs throughout the property, allowing 4WD vehicles and ATVs to access most areas. Because of the rolling timber and open woods, sound carries farther than expected - strategic access and limited vehicle use are encouraged. An east-to-west running creek splits the property into two distinct sections. Constructed crossings allow for easy travel between the north and south sides. Hunters will receive a detailed map after booking that outlines stand placement and crossing locations. The tract adjoins nearly 1,800 acres of Sumter National Forest. Public hunting activity may occur on the forest side, particularly during peak seasons, but that pressure can influence wildlife movement into the private boundary. Camping is permitted on-site in specified areas for an additional nightly fee.
This tract is well-structured for mature buck behavior due to its terrain diversity and cover transitions. The pine stands provide thermal and security bedding, especially on mid-slope positions where bucks can bed with wind advantage and visual control downhill. The hardwood bottoms supply mast and natural browse, while the creek drainage serves as a low-impact travel corridor - particularly during pre-rut and rut movement. Benches along the hillsides are key features. Mature bucks commonly use these subtle elevation shelves to travel while staying just off ridge tops and out of sight. The rolling topography also creates defined wind currents, allowing hunters to plan setups based on prevailing winds. The combination of bedding cover, travel corridors, water, and food creates consistent rut cruising behavior along terrain edges and transition zones. This is a true timber and terrain-driven whitetail property.
Reservation fees are due at the time of booking and are non-refundable. 50% of the outdoorsman fee will process at the time of booking, due to over-the-counter tag availability. The remaining 50% will process 1 month prior to the hunt date.
For big game adventures, cancellations made prior to placing a deposit will be handled immediately with no penalty. If a cancellation is requested after a deposit has been placed, Infinite Outdoors will make every effort to reschedule the hunt for a different season or a future year. Refunds are not guaranteed once a deposit has been placed.
If there is a lapse in availability, please do not be discouraged to reach out to IO. All calendars are set and managed by landowners, and unavailability is set by them. However, IO is willing to reach out on your behalf, to check on available dates. Other reasons for unavailable dates include biologist recommended hunter/harvest quotas that landowners implement, as well as state season dates not being released.
You are not legally allowed to access the property, for any adventure, prior to your selected access day. If you try to access the property at all before your selected date(s), without prior approval from IO, you will be subject to trespassing and punishments therein.
