Hunting, Hiking, Shed Hunting, CampingInfinite Outdoors and landowners across the country, along with outdoor industry sponsors, are excited to increase access to your public lands through the Access Granted initiative. This program's goal is to bring the public free access to land that is rightfully owned by you. Through Access Granted, Infinite Outdoors and partners are proud to provide access to over 34,000 acres of previously hard to access BLM outside of Kaycee, Wyoming, Andrus Draws offers drivable access across private land at no additional cost to IO users. Apart from this specific entrance point, the nearest public access area is roughly 20 miles away. This public access will be available year-round for a variety of outdoor activities, such as: Big game and small game hunting, hiking, shed hunting, and camping. All outdoor recreationists are welcome in moderation - this landowner partner has agreed to allow up to 6 vehicles per day, and all outdoorsmen who utilize this program must make reservations through the IO platform, at no added cost. Andrus Draws will be managed by the private landowner, Infinite Outdoors, and state agencies. Due to coordination with this private landowner, failure to reserve access prior to visiting will be considered trespassing. Furthermore, all guests must be Infinite Outdoors Access members, be added to the reservation, and provide all necessary information - failure to comply will result in fines imposed by the landowner or by state agencies. All attendees must abide by all regulations set by WGAF, including season dates, methods of take, and limits.
Andrus Draws falls in an area known for mule deer, antelope and predators. It consists of diverse habitat of sage, grasslands, and other low-lying cover. This along with intermittent water sources and shallow canyons creates optimal habitat for a variety of wildlife. This access road is heavily traveled by oil field traffic, and all recreationists need to be aware of their surroundings, and other Access members. Due to ongoing natural resource extraction in the area, it is advised to only drive on pre-existing roads - however do not block traffic with a parked vehicle.
Booking access through this listing allows you to travel across the private land ONLY for the day reserved. If outdoorsmen plan to camp overnight on the BLM, you must also reserve the day you intend to drive back through the private property.
All outdoorsmen who attend a reservation on this property must be active Access Members on the Infinite Outdoors platform. They must also be invited, and accept the invitation, in order to legally access through the private land. The Access Membership is free to all users.
While this property will be monitored, it is encouraged to reach out to IO to report suspicious activity, or any potential trespassing. The goal of the Access Granted initiative is to provide managed access that is always free, never overcrowded, and well taken care of.
In order to access this property, outdoorsmen must use the Infinite Outdoors app. The public land layer must be turned on in the app, so users know the BLM boundaries during access.
