Game and habitat information

Right outside of Yampa, Colorado, lies the Bull Creek Elk Property. This region is renowned for its abundance and diversity of productive habitat. Large aspen groves on the ranch are excellent places to target elk due to their abundance of understory vegetation and cover. Elk also seek recently disturbed areas such as burns, beetle kill, flooding, etc. on the property. Elk will visit mature forested areas for cover and move into these disturbed areas for food in the early mornings and evenings. Pressure from the public land will also push more elk to utilize this property. This large property offers a variety in habitat and lots of room to search for elk. All being said, Bull Creek is a must for your next Elk hunting adventure.
