Notes from the landowner

The east side of the ranch covers just over 700 acres and includes approximately 3 miles of North Platte River frontage, combined with adjoining alfalfa fields. Located just outside of Torrington, this property offers hunters a mix of habitat types that turkeys use heavily throughout the spring and fall seasons. All structures are set back from the hunting areas, but hunters must remain mindful of houses and never shoot near them. Vehicle use is limited to existing roads and two-tracks only - driving off these routes will result in fines. On-site lodging is available for $125 per person per night in a 4-bedroom, 3-bath apartment with a full kitchen, pending availability. If lodging is unavailable, Torrington’s hotels are just a short drive away. Hunters must use the Infinite Outdoors app to stay within boundaries, as one of the ranch roads crosses lands not included in the hunt.

Game and habitat information

The East property features both river-bottom habitat as well as productive alfalfa fields, creating diverse conditions that support one of the strongest turkey populations in the region. Roost trees along the river provide reliable shelter, while the alfalfa fields supply steady forage and strutting areas. Combined with insects, water, and cover, this variety of resources makes this property a consistent hotspot for Merriam turkeys. Landowners report large numbers of birds returning every season, with a resident flock that has historically remained distinct from the western group. The combination of river and field access ensures hunters will see steady activity throughout the day, with birds moving between roosting, feeding, and loafing sites.

Harvest Reports

After your hunt, you will be sent an automated Harvest Report. To assist Infinite Outdoors in maintaining the quality of properties - and continue to put conservation at the forefront - we require that the harvest report be completely filled out and returned. Failure to fill out the harvest report within 2 weeks of the hunt taking place will result in a $25 fine. If you are unsuccessful in filling your tag, Infinite Outdoors still needs to have that information provided to them. This is how we will make changes to future year's harvest quotas and continue to be the most well managed access and conservation platform in the country.

Access Duration

2-Day Hunt

Payment Process

Reservation fees are due at the time of booking, and are non-refundable. 100% of the outdoorsman fee will process 7 full days prior to the adventure start date.

Cancellation Policy

Property Availability

If there is a lapse in availability, please do not be discouraged to reach out to IO. All calendars are set and managed by landowners, and unavailability is set by them. However, IO is willing to reach out on your behalf, to check on available dates. Other reasons for unavailable dates include biologist recommended hunter/harvest quotas that landowners implement, as well as state season dates not being released.

Tresspassing

You are not legally allowed to access the property, for any adventure, prior to your selected access day. If you try to access the property at all before your selected date(s), without prior approval from IO, you will be subject to trespassing and punishments therein.

FAQs

Lodging is not inherently provided - however, it can be added to the hunt if you desire an overnight stay. $125/night per person will be added to the cost of the hunt, for the use of a 4-bedroom, 3-bath apartment with a full kitchen. Inquire within IO for lodging questions!
The on-site guest house is by far the most convenient lodging! Otherwise, Torrington, WY is 10 minutes away.

Find a place to park and hike the rest of the way. After harvesting your game, you may then drive to it for retrieval. It is of large importance to abide by this rule.
