Mule DeerAndrus Draw is a DIY mule deer hunting property located south of Kaycee, WY in Areas 29 and 31 - also falling into Region C. Because of its location, general tag opportunities are available! A great perk of booking a hunt on Andrus Draw Antlers, is that it not only offers access to 600 acres of private property, but also private gated access to thousands of acres of BLM and Wyoming state land. All hunters who attend an adventure on this property must stay on existing roads and two tracks and may not venture off of them in any form of vehicle. That being said, there is a decently maintained road that traverses through the property and into BLM, making for extremely convenient access to wide open country. As this is a DIY hunt, hunters will be expected to provide their own equipment and licensing and must be prepared to extract their own downed game. Hunters: please be prepared to return the landowner coupon on your license to this landowner. Check the rules and regs section upon booking to learn where to send the coupon.
Andrus Draw Antlers has many enticing habitat factors that bring wildlife to within its boundaries. A creek that flows through the property from north to south provides necessary water resources, as well as lush green grasses and other substantial food choices that game will graze on. Though relatively flat with elevation ranges of 4700 to 4840, the property boasts changing topography with many areas that game can bed and disappear into. There are many small bluffs and crevasses that deer will utilize to stay hidden from the elements, as well as any potential predators. Besides the ideal habitat that is within the private borders of the property, the surrounding BLM and state land also showcases terrain that is sought after by many species of game, including mule deer.
After your hunt, you will be sent an automated Harvest Report. To assist Infinite Outdoors in maintaining the quality of properties - and continue to put conservation at the forefront - we require that the harvest report be completely filled out and returned. Failure to fill out the harvest report within 2 weeks of the hunt taking place will result in a $25 fine. If you are unsuccessful in filling your tag, Infinite Outdoors still needs to have that information provided to them. This is how we will make changes to future year's harvest quotas and continue to be the most well managed access and conservation platform in the country.
If you are successful in harvesting an animal on this property, as a request of the landowners you must send in the Landowner Coupon that is attached to your big game license. Any hunter who successfully fills their tag but fails to return the landowner coupon will receive a $25 fine. This will be issued to the landowner in lieu of the money they would have received from the state through the landowner coupon program. The Harvest Report (noted above) is how you will notify Infinite Outdoors of your hunt results. Unsuccessful hunters are not required to return a coupon. The additional income driven through landowner coupons is a great way to continue incentivizing landowners to allow access to their land - we ask for your help in this endeavor, to keep quality access available at the touch of a button. Upon successful harvest, please send your landowner coupon to: 200 Trail Drive, Ranchester, WY 82839.
