5 daysWyoming Hill is a premier DIY mule deer hunting property located south of Clifton, WY, within the boundaries of Wyoming’s Mule Deer Unit 6. This expansive 1,800-acre parcel not only offers excellent on-site habitat, but also provides direct access to an additional 1,800 acres of adjacent BLM land, opening up a vast hunting area for adventurous sportsmen.
The property features diverse terrain, including rolling sagebrush hills, coulees, and brushy creek bottoms along Hay Creek—an important year-round water source that draws and holds resident mule deer. Thanks to minimal past hunting pressure, the mule deer population here is relaxed and patterns naturally across the land, offering excellent opportunities for spot-and-stalk hunters seeking a high-quality DIY experience.
This is a 5-day self-guided hunt, with your selected arrival day marking the beginning of your access window. All hunters must be active Infinite Outdoors members and included on the reservation’s party list.
The area surrounding Clifton, Wyoming, offers prime mule deer habitat characterized by a blend of rolling sagebrush hills, scattered juniper pockets, and riparian corridors like those found along Hay Creek. This landscape provides ideal conditions for mule deer to thrive year-round, with abundant forage, bedding cover, and reliable water sources. The elevation changes and broken terrain create natural travel corridors and glassing opportunities, making the region well-suited for spot-and-stalk hunting. With expansive BLM land adjoining private parcels like Wyoming Hill, hunters benefit from a largely undeveloped, low-pressure environment that supports healthy deer populations and consistent movement patterns throughout the season.
