Whispering Pines - Weekday Deer Hunt

Whispering Pines is a whitetail deer hunting property located in Chappells, South Carolina. This particular listing is available for single & multiple weekday hunts Tuesday-Thursday. Hunts here will be a combination of DIY and semi-guided. It is semi-guided in the fact that all stands and blinds are fixed and established, as well as established food plots and feeders, shooting lanes, and assistance from a landowner on which blind or stand will suit you best for your hunt. There are 9 provided hunting locations (2 blinds, 7 ladder stands) on this property, all of which have ample access from six miles of firebreaks. Shooting distance from each provided stand will vary depending on the location, but hunters can expect shots from 10 to 100 yards. This ensures a quality stand location no matter what method of take hunters are using. Because this is a semi-guided adventure, hunters will be assisted by the landowner to ensure a quality experience. This will include a 'scouting day' prior to the hunt, to familiarize hunters with the property and stand locations: please be on the lookout for contact from the landowner after booking to set this up. Upon booking, hunters will be provided with information on each blind, additional photos, and the landowner's contact information. All hunters are required to obtain their own licensing and will be required to bring all their own hunting gear. Only assistance and hunting spots are provided; hunting equipment is not provided. NOTE: Small game hunting while on the property is also permitted. Hunters will have opportunity for squirrel, rabbit, racoon, bobcat, coyote, dove, and many more.

Whispering Pines is an ideal property for whitetail deer due to the habitat, food, and water sources. Natural food sources include acorn, hickory, black walnuts, persimmon, muscadines, berries, and beauty berry. Also onsite are 5 man-made food plots: soybean, sorghum, clover, chicory, cow peas, chufa, purple top turnips, radishes, and a southern wild mix from NWTF. On top of natural food and food plots, there are also 5 provided battery feeders, dispensing shell corn twice a day and cob corn supplement. Habitat on this property vary and include loblolly pine, hardwoods, briers, grassy fields, and creek bottoms; all perfect for bedding, traveling and grazing deer. Whispering Pines also boasts a full-time creek, as well as a dry creek that will gather rainwater throughout the year. Between year-round water, and multiple sources of quality sought after food, whitetail not only thrive on this property, but they also make it a home.

1 Day Hunt, available only on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Multi-day hunts are available but must be booked one day at a time.

OTC tags for whitetail deer.

Reservation fees are due at the time of booking and are non-refundable. All OTC hunts will require a 50% deposit of the outdoorsman fee at the time of booking as well. The remaining 50% will process 1 month prior to the hunt.

Cancellations made prior to placing a deposit will be taken care of immediately. Any cancellations needing made after placing a deposit will result in attempts to reschedule the hunt for a different season, or a different year. Please note that refunds are not guaranteed.

If there is a lapse in availability, please do not be discouraged to reach out to IO. All calendars are set and managed by landowners, and unavailability is set by them. However, IO is willing to reach out on your behalf, to check on available dates. Other reasons for unavailable dates include biologist recommended hunter/harvest quotas that landowners implement, as well as state season dates not being released.

You are not legally allowed to access the property, for any adventure, prior to your selected access day, unless explicitly invited by the landowner. If you try to access the property at all before your selected date(s), without prior approval from IO or the landowner, you will be subject to trespassing and punishments therein.
