I fished Diamond Arrow on Saturday June 28, 2025. I found it to be one of the best properties I’ve fished through Rare Waters. If you like large pellet fed fish, head to the pond with the floating dock. While it is fun to see the fish, it is not my style of fishing. Never less, use a fish pellet light tan imitation fly. Head behind the pond to the river and you can wade left to a large run on the left side, fed by oxygen rich from a drop over small pebbles. Fish dry flies, primarily caddis imitations, as close to the bank and vegetation. Nymphing with a Prince as the lead and trailing a black zebra or Barr emerger, depending on the time of day. Further down river is accessed by a groomed trail to a camping spot with a fire pit and picnic table. There are multiple deep runs on the bank that extend out about 10 feet. I only nymphed this in the afternoon using a red perdigo trailing a black zebra. In a three hour period we caught 12+ fish in the 16-18+ range. Primarily rainbows, but a couple of browns and one cut bow. Respect the property and have a blast. We did. Fish ON.

The Diamond Arrow Ranch was fantastic! My brother Norm and I are members and stayed 4 days and 3 nights there! The flow was still high, but we still managed to catch some quality fish. The camp site was great! Had the owner of the property was great!
