Booner Palace - Turkey

This property is a 125-acre land parcel located on the Smoky Hill river, just outside rural Solomon, Kansas. It is surrounded by timber, making it an ideal location for turkey hunting. The open field on the river bottom offers a unique opportunity for a memorable turkey hunting experience. The surrounding areas are private lands with minimal pressure, adding to the exclusivity of the property. However, all hunters are advised to abide by the rules and regulations of the area, including acquiring all necessary licenses and tags. Turkey tags can be purchased over the counter (OTC) or online.

This area sits right on the line where both Rio/hybrid turkeys and eastern turkeys meet. Hunters often have an opportunity at either species while hunting this property. The Smokey Hill River, associated creek bottom trees and Triticale fields on the property promote a very healthy population of turkeys.

April 2023- IO hunters enjoyed a 100% Success rate on this property. Turkeys Roost heavily in this timber making this an exciting private land turkey experience. The habitat on this property contrasts heavily making roosting, feeding and fanning birds predictable and easy to target.
