Old Glory Hunting Preserve runs a predator management program for a simple reason - healthy bobcat and coyote numbers directly impact the quality of our deer and turkey hunting. Keeping that balance in check is good for the property, and it creates a genuine hunting opportunity for predator hunters in the process.
This is a fully DIY experience. You'll receive maps and property boundaries upon booking, and everything beyond that is your call. Run whatever setup, calling strategy, or equipment works best for you - we stay out of the way and let you hunt.
Predator hunting at Old Glory is scheduled around our big game and turkey seasons, so there is no overlap with deer, bear, or turkey hunters on the property. That still leaves a substantial portion of the year open, and frankly, some of the best calling opportunities fall right in those windows anyway.
Trail cameras across the property have documented both coyotes and bobcat consistently, so the animals are here. Pennsylvania regulations govern this hunt in full - licensing requirements, season dates, and any applicable rules are your responsibility to know before you arrive. When you're booked and ready, reach out and we'll share what we know about where these animals are moving on the ground.
We're looking forward to hosting you!
Old Glory's 300-plus acres of southwest Pennsylvania hill country provides ideal habitat for both coyotes and bobcat. Broken ridgelines, dense timber, brushy hollows, and open field edges create the kind of varied terrain that both species naturally gravitate toward. Coyotes use the creek drainages and open corridors to travel and hunt, while bobcat tend to work the thicker timber and rocky terrain features scattered across the property. The same edge habitat and mast-producing hardwoods that support healthy deer and turkey populations also support a strong resident predator population - the prey base is here, and the predators follow it. Trail cameras have confirmed consistent activity from both species across multiple seasons.

If there is a lapse in availability, please do not be discouraged to reach out to IO. All calendars are set and managed by landowners, and unavailability is set by them. However, IO is willing to reach out on your behalf, to check on available dates. Other reasons for unavailable dates include biologist recommended hunter/harvest quotas that landowners implement, as well as state season dates not being released.
