4,500 ftThis gorgeous 5,400 acre property is settled in Colorado’s GMU 109. Located north of Vona, CO, Republican Dream is a property comprising multiple plots of lands that cover a relatively large percentage of the 109 unit. This property is made up of several types of beneficial land for mule and whitetail deer. Housing mostly CRP grasses and pastureland, this property also possesses some dried creek bottom and local agricultural land. This property will see extremely limited hunting pressure due to the vast amount of private land surrounding these plots. This location can be used for both rifle and archery seasons, just know this is a spot and stalk property. You will need to park on the county roads surrounding the plots, and walk in. Lodging is not included in this hunt, however some nearby towns such as Stratton or Burlington may have hotel availability. This is a draw unit for both species of deer, though if you are unable to draw a tag, Infinite Outdoors may be able to put you in touch with a landowner for a voucher. Hunts on this property are DIY, though guided deer hunt options are available through a separate company. Contact IO if you wish to discuss those options. IO payment process is as follows: A reservation fee that is non-refundable. 50% of the outdoorsman fee will be processed 2 weeks after the Colorado limited license draw results are posted. If you are unsuccessful in the draw, reach out to and Infinite team member before that 2-week mark and they will proceed with you accordingly. The remaining 50% will process 1 month prior to your arrival on the property.
These scattered plots of land are made up of CRP grasslands, separated pastures, and dried creek bottom alike. A perfect habitat to find deer. Eastern Colorado features small rolling hills and very tall grass where deer will often bed. During the early mornings and evenings, deer can be seen more in abundance due to feeding times. Rut activity is expected to pick up during the late fall in November.
