Notes from the landowner

Stag Camp represents the pinnacle of private hunting experiences in Washington State - a 130-acre elite hunting sanctuary tucked into the pristine Aeneas Valley, accompanied by thousands of acres of Okanogan National Forest land just minutes down the road. This is a DIY whitetail buck hunt, so if you're looking to hunt does, please use the separate doe only listing found on the Infinite Outdoors platform. The property features a permanent hunting blind that wildlife has grown accustomed to over time, giving hunters excellent cover and a proven setup for close encounters - look for the blind icon on the Infinite Outdoors map for the exact location. Access is straightforward via county roads, with a gated entrance and designated parking for trucks and ATVs. Camping is available on the property, though hunters looking for a more comfortable base camp will find great options in the national forest just a half mile down the road.

Game and habitat information

Stag Camp sits in the heart of GMU 204, one of the premier whitetail units in all of Washing State. GMU 204 holds roughly equal numbers of mule deer and whitetail, but Stag Camp specifically holds a much more consistent, and larger, population of whitetail deer. The 130 acres of mixed meadow and timber at Stag Camp offer exactly the kind of habitat whitetail bucks thrive in, with open feeding areas transitioning into dense conifer cover that bucks use for bedding and security. The property offers plenty of room to set up multiple hunting locations and adjust based on wind and deer movement. Trail cameras on this property tell a story - mature bucks show up consistently through the fall and into the winter. The very nearby Okanogan National Forest sees hunting pressure that keeps deer moving and moving onto private ground. With Stag Camp's commitment to conservation and sustainable harvest, the herd quality here speaks for itself.
