When looking for private land to hunt, most people assume that they will need to pay a high price to access property for the entire season. Lately, those prices have gotten astronomical and the competition has gotten intense. But why not lease the property for just the days you want to hunt and still reap the benefits of hunting private land; without the high price tag? Back in 2020 we had the same thought, and two years later we are still on the mission to provide hunters and landowners with the best experience possible, but at a more affordable rate. We believe that by allowing property owners to keep control of their land and helping them set hunt quotas, rest days and providing them with conservation consultations we can increase the private land hunting experience for everyone.

There are a few things that set Infinite Outdoors apart from those year long leases and allow us to create great DIY hunting and fishing adventures for a variety of outdoorsmen.

Resting the property to reduce pressure on the bird population

First things first, day leasing allows us to control harvest quotas and allow proper rest. By limiting the days per week, or blocking off weeks altogether, we can collectively make the hunting or fishing on any given property better for the next user. Take one of our waterfowl properties, Tank Farms, on the North Platte River for example. This property sits below a power plant allowing the ducks to feed and roost in consistent water temperatures all year long. It also sits downstream of public water that gets hunted daily and causes birds to migrate towards the private stretches of the river. These two circumstances allow the property to produce good hunting every day of the season. However, if we allowed hunters on the property each day, like public or year long leases would, birds would become over pressured and begin moving around the set blinds. By limiting the hunting to a maximum of 3 days a week, we allow the birds to roost on the property, escape pressure for over half the week and provide hunters with a true private land experience. We can then also consult with the hunters and landowner to determine if hunting needs to be reduced on the property or can be increased based on success.

Landowners maintain control of their land

The second major advantage for day leases vs long term leases is the ability to give the landowners control of their land. All Infinite Outdoors landowners have the ability to control their calendars and where people hunt. This gives them the ability to rest certain areas for any particular reason, move hunters around if they believe it will result in the most productive hunt or easily block off areas for their agriculture operations. By giving the landowners control we help them take the lead on how they want their property to be hunted and how they want it to perform.

Listing with Infinite Outdoors allows landowners of all kinds manage their land without the worry of losing control to a lease.

Another benefit of the Infinite Outdoors way is our collaboration between landowners, users and our staff biologists. We employ biologists with backgrounds in fisheries, waterfowl, upland and big game to help our landowners manage their properties to ensure both landowners and hunters get the most out of our platform. We help assist in blind placement, restoration projects, habitat improvement, and fisheries management whenever possible. By listening to hunters, anglers and landowners we can help manage every property to reach its full potential.

Other benefits of our platform is the ability to introduce new hunters, visit several places throughout the season and hunt a variety of game without stressing over multiple leases or pressure from other hunters. We allow hunters and anglers full access to book any Infinite Outdoors property and the ability to hunt it as many times as they would like, within our open days (and booking availability) of course. The platform also allows new hunters and kids a great place to get a good first experience in the field without public land pressure or the high price tag of guided hunts. Youth small game hunters and anglers also get steep discounts, if not free, on all adventures.

Overall, we aim to provide both landowners and outdoorsmen with the best experience possible. We strive to create good habitat, true wild properties, and a community that respects the opportunity to access these amazing places. As we grow, we will continue to bring all aspects of our company to new users and landowners while promoting conservation, community and adventure.

If you or someone you know can benefit from using Infinite Outdoors to get outdoorsmen access to their property and financially benefit from that access, we are always happy to talk with landowners and give a consultation to see how we can help benefit the landowner.
