4620 ft.BY BOOKING THIS PROPERTY, YOU ARE AGREEING TO HAVE THE HUNT BE OPEN AS A COMMUNITY ADVENTURE. This property is located just east of Greeley, Colorado, on the South Platte River, nearly spitting distance from town! There is a spacious blind built from a 40-foot Conex box with a camouflaged roof. Included in the blind is a flat top grill for cooking, a coffee pot, and a generator for power. Hunters are also allowed to use decoys provided in the blind. There are 2 dozen floater goose decoys, as well as 2 dozen floater duck decoys. Inventory of the decoys will be taken after each hunt. To add to the luxury, there is also a makeshift urinal inside the blind! Not only does one of the best waterfowl rivers in the region run through this property, but it also boasts an alfalfa field to the north - perfect for waterfowl movement in the area. SPEEDING OVER 15mph ON PRIVATE ROADS WILL RESULT IN FINES.
This property is located on the South Platte River, with several offshoots and thicker brush that make it ideal for waterfowl hunting. This location and the surrounding areas see little hunting pressure. On this property, you are likely to find a variety of duck species along with some geese here and there. There is a permanent blind located on this property. However, since the river has changed in the last year, the permanent blind is now 30 yards away from the water. There is a giant sandbar in front, perfect for full-body decoys or silhouettes. If the blind is too far away from water for the liking of your hunting party, hunters are encouraged to brush themselves in with a blind wherever they see fit, within the property's boundaries.
By booking this property, you are agreeing to having your adventure be open to the Infinite Outdoors community. What this means, is your reservation will be available for other IO members to join, within the set guest limit. As a party organizer, you will receive notifications when other members join your adventure.
1-Day Hunt
Provided on this property is a structure blind made from a 40-foot Connex. Accounting for additional time is recommended, to add brush to existing windows.
Reservation fees are processed at the time of booking and are non-refundable. All outdoorsman fees will process automatically, 48 hours prior to the hunt.
Cancellations must be made 48 hours or more prior to the adventure. Cancellations made within 48 hours will be subject to partial or full outdoorsman fee charges.
If there is a lapse in availability, please do not be discouraged to reach out to IO. All calendars are set and managed by landowners, and unavailability is set by them. However, IO is willing to reach out on your behalf, to check on available dates. Other reasons for unavailable dates include biologist recommended hunter/harvest quotas that landowners implement, as well as state season dates not being released.
You are not legally allowed to access the property, for any adventure, prior to your selected access day. If you try to access the property at all before your selected date(s), without prior approval from IO, you will be subject to trespassing and punishments therein.

We had 4 persons in the conex blind hunting on Jan 7th. It honestly is still a little ways away from the water like the other east blind. The birds that came in seemed to be flaring and when we got out we noticed how much Blue color was still on the blind. It really needs to be brushed in or netting put up on it. I think it’s a good concept but needs a lot more work. Definitely not worth the $100

The River Bend East Blind was awesome. It's an excellent location on the Platte and about as convenient as it gets. There is a Conex box on the river and you can park next to it, making unloading gear easy. Inside the blind is a stove, chairs, decoys and everything you need to make for an excellent hunt. It can be a little difficult to get down into the river--anyone want to set up a rope?! I'll definitely use this again sometime.

Great property lots of birds flying all over. The blind is positioned a little far away when the river is low but adjusted fine.

My issue with the property is the blind was in the wide open. It could have been built into more cover. It also was not brushed in on the back of the blind, only the front.
