5,703Arikaree River #2 is a deer hunting property located in GMU 107, consisting of over 5500 acres. This property will be shared access, you may see other hunters. The outdoorsman fee is strictly for access, not exclusivity. This hunt is designed to be more affordable access for people. Think of this as public land hunting on private land. Up to 6 hunters will be allowed at a time. The terrain in this property is prime deer hunting country. From dry creek beds to thick cover, and most of the only food within miles, deer are able to call this area home for the entire year. There is nearby BLM land, and some state land that is inaccessible to the public, giving local game a safe haven to reside. Deer hunts on this property will be sold in 5-day chunks for both archery and rifle seasons. The method of hunting here is spot and stalk, park your car and walk in. The outdoorsman fee is set for a DIY hunt for 5 days. If a hunter is unable to acquire their own license, IO may be able to provide them with a landowner voucher, directly from the landowner. Lodging is not included in this hunt. Nearby towns may have hotel availability. Infinite Outdoors has a clubhouse near Stratton; however, availability is subject to many blackout dates. IO payment process is as follows: A reservation fee that is non-refundable. 50% of the outdoorsman fee will process 2 weeks after the Colorado limited license draw results are posted. If you are unsuccessful in the draw, reach out to Infinite Outdoors before that 2-week mark and they will proceed with you accordingly. The remaining 50% will process 1 month prior to your arrival on the property.
This Eastern Colorado property provides great Mule Deer and Whitetail habitat during both the summer, fall and winter months. Its lower elevation provides great food and water sources along dense sagebrush and grassland habitat. These vast grasslands and sage flats serve as exceptional habitat for this region. These properties also include ag fields which also serve as an attractor for big game. A culmination of different landscapes provides grazing opportunities for deer throughout the property.
Hunters must cancel within 2 weeks after the draw results post. If deposit is made, we will push you to following year/season if possible.

If there is a lapse in availability, please do not be discouraged to reach out to IO. All calendars are set and managed by landowners, and unavailability is set by them. However, IO is willing to reach out on your behalf, to check on available dates. Other reasons for unavailable dates include biologist recommended hunter/harvest quotas that landowners implement, as well as state season dates not being released. All big game hunts may be pre-booked for future seasons; reach out to IO to inquire.
You are not legally allowed to access the property, for any adventure, prior to your selected access day. If you try to access the property at all before your selected date(s), without prior approval from IO, you will be subject to trespassing and punishments therein.

I did not see a single buck on the property. Three local hunters drove through the area I was hunting the first morning at daylight saying they were doe hunting and scared any deer in the field.
