Notes from the landowner

Sandy Hills Mule Deer is located just north of Casper Wy in unit 22. This particular property consists of 120 acres of private access with approximately 5,000 acres of BLM land that is land locked or can only be accessed through private roads. This property is no stranger to good deer coming in and out of the property. Sandy Hills has 2 blinds that hunters are welcome to use if they feel necessary. This property does have open water on the 120 acres where deer will come to get hydrated. Access will come from I-25. Although there are thousands of acres of public land around the property, not very many people are seen because of it having limited access. There will be only 2 hunts for deer available on this property in 2024 season so book quick. If hunters have the correct tags, they can also add on for pronghorn during those same days. All hunters must be members of Infinite Outdoors to legally access this property. This is a DIY property, hunters must bring all things that they deem necessary to raise chances of success. Please be sure to brush up on Wyoming rules and regulations before arriving to the property.

Game and habitat information

This particular section of area 22 is made up of a diverse habitat that will hold Mule Deer, Elk, and Pronghorn. The sage brushed plains of Wyoming is known to hold good Mule Deer if you can find them bedded down or when they are on the move. The high sage brush will provide cover and protection for them to bed. The water on the property is precisely located and holds as a main source for traveling critters as there is not much water in this part of the state.

Harvest Reports

After your hunt, you will be sent an automated Harvest Report. To assist Infinite Outdoors in maintaining the quality of properties - and continue to put conservation at the forefront - we require that the harvest report be completely filled out and returned. Failure to fill out the harvest report within 2 weeks of the hunt taking place will result in a $25 fine. If you are unsuccessful in filling your tag, Infinite Outdoors still needs to have that information provided to them. This is how we will make changes to future year's harvest quotas and continue to be the most well managed access and conservation platform in the country.

Landowner Coupon

If you are successful in harvesting an animal on this property, as a request of the landowners you must send in the Landowner Coupon that is attached to your big game license. Any hunter who successfully fills their tag but fails to return the landowner coupon will receive a $25 fine. This will be issued to the landowner in lieu of the money they would have received from the state through the landowner coupon program. The Harvest Report (noted above) is how you will notify Infinite Outdoors of your hunt results. Unsuccessful hunters are not required to return a coupon. The additional income driven through landowner coupons is a great way to continue incentivizing landowners to allow access to their land - we ask for your help in this endeavor, to keep quality access available at the touch of a button. Upon successful harvest, please send your landowner coupon to: PO Box 252, Glendo, WY 82213.

Access Duration

5 days. By booking the first day of your adventure, you are automatically booking the following 4 as well. The reservation will be for the entire time frame, and your entire group.

Payment Process

Reservation fees are due at the time of booking, and are non-refundable. 50% of the outdoorsman fee will process 2 weeks after the draw results in this state are posted. If you are unsuccessful in the draw, reach out to IO and the situation will be handled accordingly. The remaining 50% will process 1 month prior to the hunt. All OTC hunts will require a 50% deposit of the outdoorsman fee at the time of booking as well. The remaining 50% will process 1 month prior to the hunt.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made prior to placing a deposit will be taken care of immediately. Any cancellations needing made after placing a deposit will result in attempts to reschedule the hunt for a different season, or a different year. Please note that refunds are not guaranteed.

Availability

If there is a lapse in availability, please do not be discouraged to reach out to IO. All calendars are set and managed by landowners, and unavailability is set by them. However, IO is willing to reach out on your behalf, to check on available dates. Other reasons for unavailable dates include biologist recommended hunter/harvest quotas that landowners implement, as well as state season dates not being released.

Trespassing

You are not legally allowed to access the property, for any adventure, prior to your selected access day. If you try to access the property at all before your selected date(s), without prior approval from IO, you will be subject to trespassing and punishments therein.
