Notes from the landowner

Horse Creek South includes about 18 acres of Dove hunting land located in Yoder Wyoming just outside of Torrington which is known for some of the best bird hunting in the state. Hunters are provided with locations of areas to set up blinds for potential pass shooting, and are encouraged to venture to each spot as the birds will bounce back and forth the majority of the day. With Russian Olives, water nearby and a very good population of birds, this property could be a hit! Avoid driving through any fields more than necessary. Hunters will need to abide by all state of Wyoming regulations including bird limits and licensing requirements.

Game and habitat information

This property is made up of great bird habitat. This property has great trees and cover as well as great nearby access to food and water through agricultural fields. This property will hold both Mourning and Eurasian doves (these species have some overlapping seasons dates but make sure to check regulations before hunting). On this property map, the "pit/blind" emblem will indicate tree rows ideal for hunting locations.

Drivers should stay under 15 MPH on private roads. Violators will be subject to fines starting at $100

Availability

If there is a lapse in availability, please do not be discouraged from contacting Infinite Outdoors. Some landowners have not opened their land for reservations yet. The other reason properties might be unavailable is because we work directly with our landowners and hunts are booked by quota set by our biologist for the current year. That being said, we are willing, and able in most cases, to pre-book you for next season. OR book you in place of someone else canceling their reservation.

Trespassing

You are not legally allowed to access the property, for any adventure, prior to your selected access day. If you try to access the property at all before your selected date(s), without prior approval from IO, you will be subject to trespassing and punishments therein.

Hunts canceled 48 hours or more prior to the adventure will not be changed. Hunts canceled within 48 hours will be charged 50%, and hunts canceled within 24 hours of the adventure will be charged the full outdoorsman fee.
Yes, they must be a current IO member. Monthly memberships are available at a lower cost. An outdoorsman fee will not be charged, but any “non-hunter” found hunting will be fined.
