Dark GeeseHunt Duration
1 DayThis property is located northeast of Wellington, Colorado along the popular area known as the Front Range. The property spans across approximately 130 acres made from disked beets, making it a desired area for geese. Rawhide #6 also has a 4-man pit that hunters will be able to use upon arrival at the property. The property sits directly between 2 reservoirs, one of which will stay open all year long due to it being a cooling pool. Properties nearby are planted with corn and alfalfa, making this whole area in general a great place to set up for a great day in the field. Upon booking, check the adventures tab in your Infinite Outdoors app for access points, pit locations, and parking. All attending parties must be members of Infinite Outdoors to legally access this property. This is a DIY property; all supplies and gear will need to be brought by the group.
There is an abundance of food sources near this property including corn, alfalfa, and sugar beets which makes it attractive for geese flying over head. Park Creek Reservoir is located to the northeast which will freeze over. Rawhide reservoir is located to the west and will stay open all year around. This makes it a great place to be during the whole season. You can expect geese to come into fields in the mornings and evenings, but they still can be seen during all times of the day. Along with feeding at morning and evening, geese can be seen going back to water sources during the day to loaf.
1-Day Hunt
Provided pit blinds are built at the beginning of the season. Hunters are encouraged to spend a few minutes brushing in the blinds to keep them in quality condition and keep them well hidden from birds.
Reservation fees are processed at the time of booking and are non-refundable. All outdoorsman fees will process automatically, 48 hours prior to the hunt.
Cancellations must be made 48 hours or more prior to the adventure. Cancellations made within 48 hours will be subject to partial or full outdoorsman fee charges.

If there is a lapse in availability, please do not be discouraged to reach out to IO. All calendars are set and managed by landowners, and unavailability is set by them.
