137 acresThis property is located northeast of Wellington, Colorado along the popular area known as the Front Range. The property as a whole spans across approximately 130 acres made from disked beets, making it a desired area for geese. Rawhide #6 also has a pit that hunters will be able to use upon arrival at the property. It can hold up to 4 people. The property sits directly between 2 reservoirs, one of which will stay open all year long due to it being a cooling pool. Properties nearby are planted with corn and alfalfa, making this whole area in general a great place to set up for a great day in the field. Upon booking, check the adventures tab in your Infinite Outdoors app for access points, pit locations, and parking. All attending parties must be members of Infinite Outdoors to legally access this property. This is a DIY property; all supplies and gear will need to be brought by the group.
There is an abundance of food sources near this property including corn, alfalfa, and sugar beets which makes it attractive for geese flying over head. Park Creek Reservoir is located to the northeast which will freeze over. Rawhide reservoir is located to the west and will stay open all year around. This makes it a great place to be during the whole season. You can expect geese to come into fields in the mornings and evenings, but they still can be seen during all times of the day. Along with feeding at morning and evening, geese can be seen going back to water sources during the day to loaf.

If there is a lapse in availability, please do not be discouraged to reach out to IO. All calendars are set and managed by landowners, and unavailability is set by them. However, IO is willing to reach out on your behalf, to check on available dates. Other reasons for unavailable dates include biologist recommended hunter/harvest quotas that landowners implement, as well as state season dates not being released.
You are not legally allowed to access the property, for any adventure, prior to your selected access day. If you try to access the property at all before your selected date(s), without prior approval from IO, you will be subject to trespassing and punishments therein.
By booking this property, you agree to Waterfowl Landowner agreement found here(https://bit.ly/waterfowl-terms)
Seating is not provided, please bring your own chairs, buckets or whatever you prefer because there are none in the pit
Although the blind is there, please consider showing up earlier and brushing yourself in the way you see fit. However, please also keep modesty in mind, and do not overdo the blind by tearing up the property.
