Notes from the landowner

Buckeye Mountain Ranch is a DIY turkey hunting property located in Colorado's GMU 29, consisting of nearly 2,300 acres of private land and is surrounded by national forest. Within the property are multiple open parks, water sources, and plenty of dark timber to hide birds. Turkey hunters on this property will have access to the entire area for the day that they book. The property allows foot traffic only, you will walk in from where you park. This property is in an OTC unit, so licenses will be easy to obtain. Landowners who've grown up on the ranch report more birds in the area than ever before. The reservation fee will be non-refundable, and the outdoorsman fee will process 48 hours prior to your arrival on the property. Contact Infinite Outdoors with any questions you may have.

Availability

If there is a lapse in availability, please do not be discouraged to reach out to IO. All calendars are set and managed by landowners, and unavailability is set by them. However, IO is willing to reach out on your behalf, to check on available dates. Other reasons for unavailable dates include biologist recommended hunter/harvest quotas that landowners implement, as well as state season dates not being released. All adventures can only be booked a maximum of 90 days in advance.

Trespassing

You are not legally allowed to access the property, for any adventure, prior to your selected access day. If you try to access the property at all before your selected date(s), without prior approval from IO, you will be subject to trespassing and punishments therein.

This is only in conjunction with particular situations including, but not limited to, modifications to reservation (usually by a reduction in reserved days) or full cancellation of any Infinite Outdoors adventure, either hunting or fishing. No refunds will be permitted, in ANY case, if the individual(s) broke any of Infinite Outdoors Rules or Policies as set out by the Infinite Outdoors team, and each individual Landowner.

This is an amazing piece of mountain property with easy access from the Boulder & Denver area. Great water sources, mountainous terrain and open fields that offer a perfect piece of property to hold Merriam's. Be prepared for a rugged mountain experience and stalking birds through dark timbers, slash and beautiful open meadows.

Definitely turkeys in the area but severe snow made chase almost impossible. Drifts in some areas still several feet. Best if property opened later in season. No signs visible at property made locating/confirming more difficult.
