Notes from the landowner

This property consists of approximately 620 acres in the plains of Kansas. Although it is in the great plains, this property is set up perfectly for great days of dove hunting. Raftery Badger Dove, features multiple water sources on and around the property, and a tree row on the south east side of the west section of this property. Agriculture fields surround all sides of these sections of land which make it desirable for doves. Hunters must follow all Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks, rules and regulations. The daily bag limit of 15 applies to mourning and white-winged doves, single species or in combination. There is no limit on Eurasian collared or ringed turtle doves, but any taken in addition to the mourning and white-winged dove daily bag must have a fully-feathered wing attached while being transported. This is a DIY opportunity, all hunters should bring all things necessary for success. All attending parties must be members of Infinite Outdoors to legally access this property.

Game and habitat information

The wonderful thing about doves is that they can be hunted throughout the day but they are more active during mornings and evenings. Seeds are the main food source for doves and they can be found flying to and from water and food sources. Agriculture fields, tree rows, and the plains are all sustainable for these birds. Kansas is a great place for dove hunting in general because of the warmer climate. Cold snaps will often push doves south and to move out of areas.

If there is a lapse in availability, please do not be discouraged from contacting Infinite Outdoors. Some landowners have not opened their land for reservations yet. The other reason properties might be unavailable is because we work directly with our landowners and hunts are booked by quota set by our biologist for the current year. That being said, we are willing, and able in most cases, to pre-book you for next season. OR book you in place of someone else canceling their reservation.
