Moffet Road - Deer

Moffet Road is a DIY Deer property located east of I-25 and north of Cheyenne, WY in area 15. It consists of just over 7,300 acres of private land and also provides access to Wyoming state land. In it, you will find ideal deer habitat that gives game plenty of room to roam and still be on the property. There is abundant topography changes, as well as water sources provided by Little Bear Creek. Existing two-tracks and roads are provided for traversing the property and transporting a harvested animal, though no driving off of existing tracks will be permitted. This is a 5-day hunt, so the day that you book will automatically book you for the following two as well. IO payment process is as follows: A reservation fee that is non-refundable. 50% of the outdoorsman fee will be processed after resident draw results are posted, unless a hunt is booked after the results post, in which case 50% will process immediately. The remaining half of the outdoorsman fee will process 1 month prior to your arrival on the property to hunt.

Rolling hills of grasslands, creek bottoms and bluffs covered in sumac bushes provide great habitat for mule deer. Bucks and does tend to travel in the hills around Little Bear Creek however they can be found throughout the property. Rut activity will increase in the later parts of October and continue through November

Wyoming residents can hunt this area with a general tag and can be bought OTC. For non residents, drawing odds can be found at infiniteoutdoorsusa.com/links/wyo-draw-odds

Reservation fees are due at the time of booking, and are non-refundable. 50% of the outdoorsman fee will process 2 weeks after the draw results in this state are posted. If you are unsuccessful in the draw, reach out to IO and the situation will be handled accordingly. The remaining 50% will process 1 month prior to the hunt. All OTC hunts will require a 50% deposit of the outdoorsman fee at the time of booking as well. The remaining 50% will process 1 month prior to the hunt.

Cancellations made prior to placing a deposit will be taken care of immediately. Any cancellations needing made after placing a deposit will result in attempts to reschedule the hunt for a different season, or a different year. Please note that refunds are not guaranteed.

If there is a lapse in availability, please do not be discouraged to reach out to IO. All calendars are set and managed by landowners, and unavailability is set by them. However, IO is willing to reach out on your behalf, to check on available dates. Other reasons for unavailable dates include biologist recommended hunter/harvest quotas that landowners implement, as well as state season dates not being released.

You are not legally allowed to access the property, for any adventure, prior to your selected access day. If you try to access the property at all before your selected date(s), without prior approval from IO, you will be subject to trespassing and punishments therein.
