4400 ftLandsman Hill Dove is located near Burlington, Colorado. Eastern Colorado agriculture is wildlife rich and dove are no exception. The property consists of agriculture fields and creek bottoms. Landsman Hill consists of two separate parcels that are conjoined at the corner. All vehicles must follow the rules posted, and they must follow the approved path in and out of the field, as shown on the Infinite Outdoors app. This is a DIY property, so hunters need to bring all things necessary to make this hunt as successful as possible. Additionally, all attending parties must be members of Infinite Outdoors to legally access this property.
This property sets up to provide excellent dove hunting. Surrounded in all directions by CRP, dry creek bottom and nesting/roosting habitat other food sources, This property is an excellent opportunity for an amazing dove hunt in September. This country sees lots of dove year-round and given the right circumstances it can be a shootout. Ag fields in this area as well as the habitat fragmentation this part of the country serves as a boiling pot for all game species. With plenty of food and water close by, birds will stay in this area until the weather turns. Target field corners, power-lines, and riversides to maximize your success. Be sure to keep an eye out for Mourning Dove, White-wing, Pigeons and Eurasian Dove. Be sure to do your research on bird identification beforehand due to the 15-bird limit on Mournings and White-wing and no limit on Eurasian's or Pigeon. Due to minimal past pressure, birds in this area will be susceptible to the use of spinning wing decoys.
1-Day Hunt
Reservation fees are processed at the time of booking and are non-refundable. All outdoorsman fees will process automatically, 48 hours prior to the hunt.
Cancellations must be made 48 hours or more prior to the adventure. Cancellations made within 48 hours will be subject to partial or full outdoorsman fee charges.
If there is a lapse in availability, please do not be discouraged to reach out to IO. All calendars are set and managed by landowners, and unavailability is set by them. However, IO is willing to reach out on your behalf, to check on available dates. Other reasons for unavailable dates include biologist recommended hunter/harvest quotas that landowners implement, as well as state season dates not being released.
You are not legally allowed to access the property, for any adventure, prior to your selected access day. If you try to access the property at all before your selected date(s), without prior approval from IO, you will be subject to trespassing and punishments therein.
