3 DaysRed Nose is located northwest of Wellington, Colorado, in GMU 9. This property is massive and spans over 10,000 acres along the Front Range of Colorado. During the later part of the season hunting can be phenomenal. There is an abundance of food and water sources throughout the property which makes it a desirable area for elk as they make their way to lower elevations for the winter. Though Infinite Outdoors adventures are typically DIY, this landowner wishes for the hunters to be accompanied by a guide. These hunts will be guided through Eastern Outdoorsman outfitters (#3381 Colorado). Each hunter must sign a guided hunt contract from the outfitter prior to the hunt. Please contact IO for more information and we can get members set up for this awesome experience.
The Front Range of Colorado is known for its abundance of wildlife, containing especially large populations of both waterfowl and elk. Red Nose is a perfect example of how good hunting can be in this region. On this property, hunters will experience elevation ranges between 5,800 and 7,000 feet. Boxelder Creek runs through the property on the east side and is used to water agriculture fields that make up the majority of the east side of this property. As temperatures get colder, elk move from higher elevations to lower elevations to reach their wintering grounds for easy access to food and water. For this reason, Red Nose sits in a perfect location, as elk will find multiple sources of food around the property to maintain populations throughout the late season. Hunters can expect late season elk herds to be large, although hunting them requires some patience to manage an ethical shot.
3-Day hunt. By booking the first day of your hunt, you're automatically booked for the following 2 as well.
Reservation fees are due at the time of booking, and are non-refundable. 50% of the outdoorsman fee will process 2 weeks after the draw results in this state are posted. If you are unsuccessful in the draw, reach out to IO and the situation will be handled accordingly. The remaining 50% will process 1 month prior to the hunt.
Cancellations made prior to placing a deposit will be taken care of immediately. Any cancellations needing made after placing a deposit will result in attempts to reschedule the hunt for a different season, or a different year. Please note that refunds are not guaranteed.
If there is a lapse in availability, please do not be discouraged to reach out to IO. All calendars are set and managed by landowners, and unavailability is set by them. However, IO is willing to reach out on your behalf, to check on available dates. Other reasons for unavailable dates include biologist recommended hunter/harvest quotas that landowners implement, as well as state season dates not being released.
You are not legally allowed to access the property, for any adventure, prior to your selected access day. If you try to access the property at all before your selected date(s), without prior approval from IO, you will be subject to trespassing and punishments therein.

One of the best hunting trips I’ve ever been on. Sam and Mike were fantastic. They were very knowledgeable, fun to be around, and driven to make this a great experience for everyone involved!

Had a great experience with a successful hunt. This property prefers hunters use a guide and it was well worth it. Definitely planning to hunt this here again in the next few years.
