Notes from the landowner

Duck Creek Road is a DIY fishing property south of Glenrock, WY. Please note that from I-25, the drive is roughly 1 hour to the parking location. Though named Duck Creek, this property offers access to over 3 miles of fishable water on Deer Creek. It also offers access to a small stretch of the West Fork Deer Creek stream, as well as continued access on State of Wyoming land on Deer Creek. Please note that access to this property a full 24 miles from I-25. It is all 2 track, county road, and back roads to the stream, so allow yourself at least 40 minutes to make the drive from the interstate. As a DIY property, Duck Creek Road boasts secluded, quiet days on the river. Fishing here will consist of tight quarter casting on skinny water. Anglers should note that all access on this property is limited to the stream only; the boundaries are set in the Infinite Outdoors app, so pay special attention to how far from the banks of the creek you wander. Parking is permitted in the designated spots in the IO app only: Do Not make your own parking spots. Park in assigned locations and proceed on foot only.

The property was very easy to get to and had incredible fishing holes across the entire property. Absolutely no lack of trout in the river as we were getting a hit every few casts.

Awesome fishery! Top water action and great sized fish for the size of the creek. Biggest was a 17” brown but everything was over 12”. More water than I could possibly fish in only one day.
