Chimney Rock Goose Layout

Fifty acres hay field 2 miles from North platte River and 1.5 miles from a historic Roost. This property is located just outside of Scottsbluff to the southeast. Chimney Rock layout field lays on around 28.5 acres of fantastic goose hunting in the great state of Nebraska. This is a DIY hunting property, so hunters need to bring all things necessary for a successful hunt. Layout blinds can be found in the member benefits page of Infinite Outdoors by ALPS Outdoorz. Additionally, all attending parties must be members of Infinite Outdoors to access the property legally.

It is the Hunters responsibility to know dates for each species.

The nearby North Platte River provides an excellent roosting and resting area for geese. The river's shallow waters are particularly attractive to geese during the colder months.

Reservoirs and Ponds: Smaller bodies of water in the area also serve as key habitats for geese, especially when the larger water bodies begin to freeze over. The layout field is cut alfalfa with a variety of other ag fields nearby. The proximity to the North Platte makes this an attractive property to setup a decoy field.

If there is a lapse in availability, please do not be discouraged to reach out to IO. All calendars are set and managed by landowners, and unavailability is set by them. However, IO is willing to reach out on your behalf, to check on available dates. Other reasons for unavailable dates include biologist recommended hunter/harvest quotas that landowners implement, as well as state season dates not being released.

You are not legally allowed to access the property, for any adventure, prior to your selected access day. If you try to access the property at all before your selected date(s), without prior approval from IO, you will be subject to trespassing and punishments therein.
