Notes from the landowner

Vona Coyote Lands consists of just over 7000 acres, north of the town of Vona, CO. A high population of coyotes reside in eastern Colorado and are rarely hunted. Meaning, they are very susceptible to calling. All hunters must abide by Colorado rules and regulations and be able to acquire appropriate licensing for this hunt. Avoid driving into any piece of property as the summer heat has kept the land dry and vulnerable to fire. Parking on county roads or small dirt entrances to the property is permitted.

Game and habitat information

This part of Eastern Colorado is primarily made up of agricultural land divided by thick ravines and dried-out creek bottoms. This habitat provides ample populations of varmints and other great food sources for coyotes. This habitat also allows for good vantage points and large unpressured calling areas making for a great area to hunt coyotes. Hunters will have a variety of terrain to choose from to hunt on, including CRP fields, pasture ground, and several crop areas.

Hunts canceled 48 hours or more prior to the adventure will not be changed. Hunts canceled within 48 hours will be charged 50%, and hunts canceled within 24 hours of the adventure will be charged the full outdoorsman fee.
Yes, they must be a current IO member. Monthly memberships are available at a lower cost. An outdoorsman fee will not be charged, but any “non-hunter” found hunting will be fined.
