Turkey Ranch Lodge #1 - Lodging + 3-Day Turkey Hunt

Turkey Ranch Lodge #1 is a DIY turkey hunting property located just outside of Paonia, CO in GMU 521. This is an OTC unit for spring turkey hunting. The terrain on this property is diverse, from mountainous to forested areas and pastures. It holds a large population of birds and has had minimal to no hunting pressure in the past. This property includes lodging (fitting 4 to 5 hunters comfortably) and private access to around 300 acres of private land which is connected to over 20,000 acres of BLM. The northern access point on the map is a FOOT TRAFFIC ONLY trail that will take you into BLM. The reservation fee is a set price for the 3 days of lodging and can be divided amongst your party. The full amount will be processed at the time of your booking. The outdoorsman fee is a per hunter fee, which will be processed 48 hours prior to your arrival on the property.

This mountainous property on the western slope of CO is ideal habitat for Merriams. The surrounding alfalfa fields and roost trees provide habitat for good numbers of turkeys throughout the spring. Hunt turkeys underneath snow capped mountains on this amazing property!

You are not legally allowed to access the property, for any adventure, prior to your selected access day. If you try to access the property at all before your selected date(s), without prior approval from IO, you will be subject to trespassing and punishments therein.
