Whitetail DeerKansas Hunting Haven includes roughly 820 acres of private land south of the town of Osborne, KS. Here you will find a large population of whitetail deer, and on the very rare occasion, some mule deer as well. Deer use the Covert Creek bottom for safe travel up and down, as well as bedding areas out of the weather and away from any predators. The local food sources of milo, beans, corn, wheat, and other nutrients they can get from the grasses on pastureland, keep deer in this area throughout the year. Kansas is notorious for it's large whitetail deer and this property is no exception. Make sure to check Kansas state hunting regulations as well as bring all necessary licenses, tags etc. In order to obtain a deer tag, you must draw that tag. Hunters are able to set up a camp on site, and for an additional cost, hunters can haul and park a camper on site or have access to a weatherproof indoor camp site. A guide may be provided for additional cost but is subject to availability. Reach out to Infinite Outdoors with questions regarding camping or a guide. IO payment process is as follows: A reservation fee that is non-refundable. 50% of the outdoorsman fee will be processed at the time of reservation. The remaining 50% will process one month prior to your arrival on the property to hunt.
This area in Kansas' unit 3 provides an excellent variety of food sources, cover and water along Covert Creek. This property, located in Kansas's Smoky Hills has a mix of hardwoods along the creek bottoms, rolling hills in the pastures and agriculture fields in between. The area has produced several large whitetails in the past and is known for having good numbers, especially during the rut in November.
