Garden City - Dove

Garden City Dove is located just south of the town of Garden City, CO on the South Platte River. It consists of 35 acres of dense trees, river bottom and sand bar, and resides across the river from various sources of agriculture. The dove population in this area is high early season and tends to drop off as the temperatures drop throughout the year. Hunters may walk up and down the bank of the river through the trees to hunt or set up a blind to hunt from. There is a small section of trees on the southeast corner of the property that may be hunted as well, so hunters are allowed to wade across the river to do so if they choose. A current small game license and habitat stamp is required to hunt.

This property is a great location for dove hunting, the South Platte River provides plenty of trees and cover as well as a water source and the Local agriculture fields provide plenty of food. This property will hold both Mourning and Eurasian doves (these species have some overlapping seasons dates but make sure to check regulations before hunting).

Reservation fees are processed at the time of booking and are non-refundable. All outdoorsman fees will process automatically, 48 hours prior to the hunt.

Cancellations must be made 48 hours or more prior to the adventure. Cancellations made within 48 hours will be subject to partial or full outdoorsman fee charges.

If there is a lapse in availability, please do not be discouraged to reach out to IO. All calendars are set and managed by landowners, and unavailability is set by them. However, IO is willing to reach out on your behalf, to check on available dates. Other reasons for unavailable dates include biologist recommended hunter/harvest quotas that landowners implement, as well as state season dates not being released.

You are not legally allowed to access the property, for any adventure, prior to your selected access day. If you try to access the property at all before your selected date(s), without prior approval from IO, you will be subject to trespassing and punishments therein.
